My 2 cents - got a Silo Lite a couple of weeks ago together with a set of BVCs, from a UK vendor. The BVCs are 1.8 (my device shows 2.0 Ohms), the juice a 50/50. The air draw is good, like the 2nd biggest on a N Mini. But what is with the constant gurgling?? On low watts the draw is too airy for a decent vapour, on higher watts it gurgles and spits in a while (check vaping Shozzas review, the same problem). Tried another coil, the same.. How high do you, happy customers, run this thing? Me, so far not a happy customer.. Is it the condensate? Btw, yeah, can anybody post a pic of the part under the drip-tip, where it kind-of gets wider, on the inside?

I run around 15w. I did however drill out my air holes to 2.1mm. I think gurgling happens when you are getting juice faster than you can pull air (So would make sense that I don't have it as I have increased the airflow drastically. ) I do not have any gurgling on my setup.

Thanks. I'll try with some thicker juice, but unlikely.. these coils are not as powerful as the Nautilus BVCs, IMHO. Of course, it can happen, that I have a batsch of bad coils, but to order a set again and just hope, that it works... Anyhow, can you post some pics?

I would like to like this topper, but I enjoy the SILO on the most open air-hole. I have never drilled out an air-hole before, do you need a drill-press to do it? Care to give any really basic blow-by-blow instructions on how to successfully drill out air-holes to a much larger size?

I get gurgling sometimes but usually only after chain vaping and throwing it in my bag. Figured that was why. Maybe it is just not a tight fit using aspire coil? I bet if it screwed in like the nautilus coils do, it would help. O well. For me it's easy enough to clear it out twice a day. I love the flavor and vapor production so, I will hang tight. I wonder, does anyone have this issue with the bigger tank using natilus coils? When I get a new mod, I hope to get the big tank too :)

There's a thread here about the big Silo. Check that, I haven't read it all.
In 8 days I will be able to try mine with a nice juice, I'll let you know :)

I used a regular power drill with a 2.1mm bit. I put almost no force on it and slowly drilled out. Only thing to watch out for is the spring inside but even it seems to be easy to reposition. If I remember correctly the hole is 1.7mm stock. So you might try slow stepping .1mm at a time as once drilled out you are pretty much stuck with that airflow. 2.1mm is wide open airflow

Ok so I picked up an IPV Mini last week so I had not been using my Silo lite (I was using it on an iStick). I grabbed it this morning and tossed it on the Mini and I am amazed with the performance. First off I do have my airflow holes drilled to 2.1mm each. On the iStick I never knew how much power it was getting because of the modulation. Well I have taken it to 16.1 on my Mini and the clouds and flavor are crazy good. I backed off to 14.1 as I like my vape a bit cooler but I am shocked with the results. This is the only clearomizer I have left and it will probably stay that way.

Also I am using Aspire BVC coils. The juice is Boba's

I'll wait on my Silo (the 2nd, because the 1st, that came, was defective and was sent back), use it, hopefully be happy with it (I like, that the Nautilus BVC coil screws into the chimney, not just presses against it), and sell the Silo Lite together with my K1 for scrap...

The problem is your Nautilus chimney is made of brass and the screwing into the chimney will expose the chrome covered brass. I like the chimney sitting over the coil. I haven't a issue with any BVC coils either.

The Nautilus Mini has done great for me so far. Looking forward for the Silo.
The threads on the T-Tank (not the glass tank chimney) have been a bit damaged as it is soft material and I tightened it a bit too hard, but "please, be gentle, I'm still learning" applies to that one. Already got a new one, will be just fine.
As for the Silo Lite and K1 - that is a good idea to just push it in and press against the coil. I'll give it a try again sometime.
