i love that mod. i have done my own forced patina that came out beautiful but.... the clears i have used always ended up feeling sticky.

I wonder if either CA or clear Cerakote would work over a forced patina?

i am going to try duracoat on the next one i do. not sure how the patina would react to the heat required to cure ceracoat. duracoat air drys

There are air cure, clear cerakote options out there. I have never used any myself, though...

i have a ton experience with duracoat and still have all my equipent. so i will try that first

so beautiful! i am beyond excited to get my brass. the anticipation is getting to be a little much. im like a kid waiting for christmas (or whatever holiday they may celebrate)

Don't rub it in Russ the wait is bad enough!
I try not to look but check in every freakin day and the pictures keep me coming back.
Trying not to get to excited till I see # 100 finished, wished I would have gotten on the list sooner but been to busy to keep up on the forum.
Just 14 more days till my 3 years smoke free date and the CC will be my reward.
Cant wait!
I mean for the CC Mod,, the 3 year date isn't as exciting now,,,
