Nothing polishes up a 6068 better than a just wee dab of Flitz and a paper towel...

Uuummmm, ok, I obviously NEED this stuff. I looked up "Flitz" and there's lots of cleaners-- which one?

The tube is the one. Just a smudge ( less is more) rubbed in well and a few flips of a "clean" paper towel to polish makes quick work of it.

Edit: This took less than 5 minutes. ( note the oxidation that got on the hand while polishing)

Does the Flitz leave a residual odor?

Only during the application and removal process and it's not bad at that. ( nothing like say, Never-dull wadding) Once it's done, it's gone. The only thing you'll smell is the juice in the mod.

I used to use these Cape Cod cloths on watches. Works great on 6068 aluminum too.

Today was the most strenuous day I've ever had in my life. Those last 14 miles were relentless. I almost waved a white flag and phoned for a ride.

Sorry I've been scarce this evening......... I only had a couple of hours to devote to the mod buildin'. My son, who'll be a senior in high school next year, had an orientation at the local Tech, and he asked if I'd go with him.

I happily obliged.

He's studying to be a pharmacy tech, with aspirations of becoming a pharmacist.

Somethin' about, not wanting to have to break his back, working two full time jobs,....somethin', somethin'........

I'm proud of him.

Anyhow,...... I did manage to get Irish's other side o' the cap done...
