For Rossum, they have Titanium Timascus too
I thought it was intrinsically titanium -- different alloys welded together. I'd be all over that, but.. Corey doesn't seem to want to do titanium (yet) and the thickest Timascus available is just over 1/4".

i think it kills the titaniumness of the titanium though doesn't it? the process makes it able to be worked with wood bits it's so soft from my understanding, defeating the point of Ti

I thought the point of Ti was to be able to say you have Ti

The fat daddy bottles do fit the standard bore, but just barely. I'm not a big fan of the snap cap on these, though. Really thin, and kind of a pain to get off... The plus side is, they do fit the 6ml bore, though they are a bit snug,... and they're cheap...

Okay, so I have a little ocd going on. After spending some quality time with my mod of distinction I found the only little thing that bugged me was the slight up and down rattle of the battery. So if that bothers anyone else (probably not) I did 2 quick fixes. The first night I put a small piece of electrical tape on the battery. I did not stretch the tape as I applied. 1 complete wrap was too thick so experimented until I put on just enough tape to let the battery slide into the mod with a very slight little push at the end. No more battery "travel" .I can still get the battery out with a sharp shake. Believe it or not each battery was ever so slightly different so each battery had a slightly different amount of tape, that's how close the size tolerance is inside the mod bore.
After another day of thought, yesterday I stopped by Home Depot and got a box of assorted O rings. I then found the right combination of 2 orings that fit perfectly in depth & diameter to place on top of a battery yet allowing firing pin to make contact. I super glued them together to make 1 oring. Again, no more rattle!

Nice work Rudy!
Your kit did come with an o-ring for this purpose. Russ covered the bit about the o-ring in his video. I need do to a tech thread that covers all these little things...

Yep, that is a great idea.

It was actually Peter's idea. :) It's the method he used on the Dibi Sumpin'... :thumb:

I sometimes take for granted that this stuff is common knowledge... I shouldn't do that...

:D
Great minds think like!!!! :)

Thanks for the info. I didn't note it on Russ's video, I'll have to watch it again.
I wasn't sure what those supplied different orings were for. I figured 1 was for under the atty to 510 but was not sure what the larger and smaller ones were for!
Thanks!
