I was gonna send you a full review...
The short version: I love it! Really easy to build, amazingly thick vapor, super smooth silent draw, and excellent flavor. I sure wouldn't pay $800 for one, or any other atty, but if I had the chance to get an authentic for RRP, I'd jump on it. Works real well for MTL or restricted lung hits.

Got some SS 316l in today :) so far I've built a parallel 30g .44ish ohm coil and a plain 26g .45 ohm coil. Too soon to make any real judgments. But it is noticeably easier to work with than kanthal. Doesn't "sag" as easily when initially pulsing - in fact my 26g coil saw no sag whatsoever, the most sturdy coil I've had in ages. I hope I end up preferring it to kanthal for this very reason but this just begins a series of tests to determine that...

Seems like the benefit with ramp up is due to the fact that it has a lower resistance than kanthal for the same gauge wire - hence, I can reach my desired ohm with more surface area and a thinner wire than kanthal. That's a slotherly thing :thumb:

most of my builds are in various types of stainless steel now...it is nice to be able to have one wire around, that I can do all builds with...mech? No prob. TC? No prob. :w00t:

Nice! :thumb:

I slapped together a late night 316L build, myself. :)

Nothin' fancy, as I was in a hurry... 26g, 7 wrap, 2.5mm ID....

I didn't take the time to ohm it out, but the calcs suggest it should be in the .2ish range...

I noticed the same thing, easy to work with, quick ramp up.... So far,...I like it! :D

I'm rather enjoying it myself :)
I never would've paid it any mind if you hadn't said something. I thought all non kanthal was TC only stuff. In the words of Maynard Keenan...

"I was wrong. This changes everything."

:)
