Price difference?
Yes... It's all relative to material price, tool wear, and more importantly,...labor... Stainless, for example, takes a whole heckuva lot more hours than say,...6061 aluminum. And,...SS is a heckuva lot harder on tooling...
I'll be doing the 6061's for $350. That's a base price, with brass negative contact and old 510 setup. To upgrade it to the new 510, and silver negative, it'll increase the price a little, but not as much as buyin' 'em separate... $10 increase for the new 510, and $10 for the silver negative. The $350 for the base model, is just an effort to make 'em a little more affordable, for those who might appreciate such a thing...

(by the way,...my 6061 still has the brass negative, and the old 510 setup, and I absolutely love it...

)
As far as the brass, copper, 7075, and 7068, they have always been $450. When I started making, and adding the new sterling silver negatives to new mods, I just ate the extra expense, and labor. Not the best business decision I've ever made,..... but nonetheless, it was in an effort to make a better product, and I hate charging more for stuff...
The SSCC's are $500. The $50 increase does not TRULY reflect the extra labor, tool wear, and general pita......but that's a whole 'nother story....
Dang,.......I really hate bean countin'......
Now that we got that mess outta the way............
I got some pichers to post........
BRB......
