I finally got one!

I'm extremely impressed so far. It certainly has a lot of weight for such a compact mod. I just threw an Odin that already had coils in it for the test drive, but it performs WAY better than I remember this atty doing on my Reos [emoji3] I really need to find another Nuppin to finish this off though [emoji848] You do EXCELLENT work Corey!

Today's journey was to scenic Hammond Indiana. Thankfully it was relatively quick (we didn't have air conditioning) [emoji849]

Ahhhh scenic Hammond ;)
Sorry about the lack of AC  At least it wasn't the middle of July :)

Btw

You're going to love the new CC. I can't believe this is your first one. Beautiful mod you've got there!!

I've tried the Z coil in the Stumpy, a few times... I always end up going back to duals... Same with the O-16. Plus, I like being able to look down into the drip tip, and see the juice coming up, when I squonk it... That's my favorite aspect of the 2 post design. :thumb:

I see the juice flowin' and all I run are single centers o_O

:D

BTW bro, my job bought me a new phone, my old one was outdated big time and the photo quality on the one I just got is supposed to be much better. Should do wonders for pics and vid  when I'm done being slammed at work I'll grab some pics and see if it's true

I mean, juice flowin' is pretty hot, and such...

An LG G4 - outdated still, but so much nicer than my old phone. The main thing is, and the reason they got it for me, is it gets perfect service all over the camp. My old one was missing calls, dropping calls etc - not good, when I have the office phone forwarded and I'm out doing stuff :(

My boss got the G4 recently and was astounded at the cell reception here (fringe area, most phones don't get service here worth a damn). So that prompted it. Now I gots the goodness

i have a dumb phone. It will accept phone calls and texts, but not stupid pictures or video nonsense.

If i don't recognise the number i ignore it. In the same way that a washer/dryer does both badly, a camera/phone is wasted. i have a phone and a camera. Both are too complicated for me to use and i'm too proud to RTFM. [read the f manual]

i've resorted to shouting and email and both seem to work remarkably well.

Unless you've got a high end camera...phone cameras are pretty damn nice, actually. Y'know that video channel, Scydivasloth Productions...o_O

EVERYTHING done on my old phone...the recording...the editting...every single bit of it.

That said I get people that don't like smart phones for whatever reason. I wouldn't have one except the job provides it (for good reason too, I can do a lot of work from the phone...not tied to the office, which translates to me not hating my job) :)

In my world a good smart phone with a large display is the best thing since sliced bread as they say. When out on job sites and estimating jobs the camera saves me from making tons of notes on paper and drawing. I can download them to the computer and look at the pics on the second monitor while doing estimating or making work orders on the other. Also being able to remote into my server or any network computer allows me to access the company software or my files from anywhere I get signal. I remember how awesome it was to get a bag phone and not have to find a payphone when my pager went off. My how far technology has come from there. Although it was fun to enter the service mode on the Motorola bagphone and listen to random calls since they weren't encrypted back then.

Yeah man. I used to be hugely anti-smart phone. Hated them. Cringed when my job said you've gotta have one here you go...then I realized, I would literally sit in the office for about 10-12 hours a day without it. Now? If I don't have any computer work to be doing I can go ride my bike into town and hang out. People can call the office, forwards to me - I can block out dates for them from anywhere I'm at and finish processing the reservation later. I can put on bluetooth headphones and listen to music while walking around camp with doggy or biking. If a phone call comes in, the music stops, I press the ear piece without ever even looking at the phone and answer. I can also check and respond to work e-mails anywhere I'm at.

The result? Sloth stays out of the office and in the sunshine as much as possible. Some days that's not much, some days it's literally all day long :thumb:
