Too much carbon in the smelting and not enough light airplane and BMW. Florida looks good for that kind of thing.

Light aircraft go down around here all the time, I'd have thought there would be plenty of that to go around

Hi guys/Corey
As a confirmed Reonaut for many years (or since 2013--man, time passes), I'm thinking about adding something new to my collection. All I've got are Reos at this point (except for som Evics (go figure)), and I'm seriously considering getting on 'the list' for the CC, which, together with Peter's Li'l Snitch are among the most beautiful mods I've ever seen. I have a question, tho'. I like to go as light as I can, so usually end up getting aluminum mods. How much does the Aluminum CC weigh (in comparison to the steel, for example)?I've browsed through this thread, but either it ain't there, or my brain's so addled from trying to get through 696 pages
.
All the best

The aluminum mods are at least as light as a REO Grand. I THINK they're like 3 grams or so? Corey'll chime in soon with a definitive answer. (Edit - B2L beat him to it!)Hi guys/Corey

@B2L I'm pretty sure you're right, it was due to the salt air near the ocean. That's what Rossum thinks causes his killer patinas (but I know he's wrong...it's angel oil coming off his skin)
Right you are...perhaps it is plankton oil.I figured Corey would be dialing in his new toy
Rossum is a great guy but angel may be pushing it a just a bit![]()

That's solid sterling silver, don'cha know....![]()
Metal is crystalline

Congratulations! Sort of a win for us all!!
Couple things...
Nail---> head. Mine's been doing the same thing. Personally, I like it.

Now the question is which aluminum??There have been 3 grades done to this point. Corey may only be offering 6061 at the moment. Not sure??
