This will be my first sabbath show, ive seen ozzy b4, im 31 but i grew up listening to my dads records so i def appreciate good music. All the new music these days is horrible
Yeah few weeks ago that was my first Sabbath show. Not that old which is why I'm shocked at the thought of Tele skipping a show like that. Ozzy impressed me with his vocals considering. Did better than Roger did when I saw The Who.

There's good music today. Oddly enough you have to look harder despite everything being at your finger tips.
Portugal. The Man is good stuff

Even if you don't like the song, sexy roller skating sirens ship wrecking cars on a deserted highway makes an awesome video

Never got to see them. Wanted too of course.

I sent that Edgar/Sabbath poster pic to my friend Jo to remind her. We were again marveling over ticket prices. She always wins "Best Concert" with this stub:

Right?

They opened an arena/concert hall (Barclays center) literately a few blocks from my house, but every time I try to get any tickets, I'm still forced to use the online ticket venues, having to pay hundreds of dollars over face value, to see anything.

I have been fortunate enough to have seen Ozzy in multiple formations including Sabbath, although the last time was several years ago. Through the magic that is YouTube, I find it an absolute shame that they are still touring. There comes a time when you need to hang the microphone up. I can understand the demand for them, but his voice has been beat up so badly and nothing I've heard in the past few years was even remotely in tune. Like I said, an absolute shame... I will say that Tommie and the rest of the band sound top notch though.

As to the video's you posted, I only made it through 20 seconds of the first one... The chicks in the 2nd one were a bonus as the song actually wasn't too bad.

That's the truth! I happened upon these two guys a few years ago. Both of them are my age and putting out classic music.

I thought that a lot of the Autobahn had limits nowadays?

There were always speed limits. I few more in the past years but there are still parts without. On about 20% there are no limits.

I don't think the VAT fee, (Value added Tax), is just for Germany, it is for the European Union. IE... England, Poland, Greece, Italy, France, and a few others. Member state of the European Union - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia If we buy something from there, the VAT fee is usually waved, but if you are sending something from another country, the recipient is charged the fee.

If you import goods from Non-EU country you have to pay customs and VAT. If you import goods from an EU country they will be no customs and VAT free. Exception: on new cars (newer than 6 months) you have to pay VAT.

A good excuse to get da heck outta MerkelLand

Not really I am quite happy here. Sometimes it sucks but most of the time I am happy to live here. Germany is quite in the middle of the EU countries it is not far away to my favorite places England and Italy.

Have I mentioned I love my CC squonkers? They fire every single time with absolutely zero button mashing and minimal maintenance - just keep the +/- contacts and the body/cap join clean and add a little touch of no-ox-id. They fit my hand perfectly, though I know one or two misguided people find them a little small (I'm looking at you, @Doffy !).

I do recommend the new 510 and the silver -ve contact, though I haven't yet bothered swapping out either in my older CCs with the original 510/brass contact.

I have a mixture of Italian bottles and Cappy V4 BFX in my CCs. To be honest, I'm not convinced the Cappies are worth the extra money. They are beautifully soft and perhaps will have a longer life - I don't know. However, I find the half-turn lid on the Italian bottles makes topping up juice really easy and relatively mess-free. With the Cappies, they are so soft that when I'm screwing on the lid I often squonk accidentally and end up with a bit of a mess. I am a bit of a klutz, though, so your mileage may vary :D

Al 6061: The aluminium blackens fairly easily in my hands - though I think this varies from person to person. When I feel like giving it a bit of a shine, I use the grey Scotchbrite pads (7448) and Simichrome polish. If I'm feeling really energetic, I add a coat of Renaissance Wax. But balancing the maintenance is the feather-light feel of the aluminium. It's perfect for in the pocket when out gardening, for example.

Brass: Heavy (relatively speaking), and requires maintenance as for the aluminium - though I think the brass is actually easier to shine up. But it is just gorgeous, with or without patina. My sexy CC with its sinuous V2 squonk hole :)

SS: I've alway loved mods with 'heft', and was absolutely thrilled when Corey decided to do SS - and am still thrilled. It's satisfyingly heavy, but without the maintenance :) I do have maroon Scotchbrite to help with fine surface scratches, particularly on the base, but I almost never bother. Just a wipe over with a damp cloth. The perfect mod for sitting out on the deck with a glass of red.

Ti: The perfect balance of a feeling of 'heft' vs actual weight for out and about - and, like the SS, almost no surface maintenance. I'm in heaven

CC Brochure material :D
