65 cent bottles do a Sloth just dandy. Leaves more money for juice, lot liz...oh, i should stop that thought. o_O

T knows all about it but HRH does not approve.

i bought the Italian soft bottle and updated doodah contacts and tools precisely for HRH. I'd never waste money like that on gear for myself. But she relies on her CC.

Soft bottles for those baby soft hands that use Fairy liquid for dishes. And nauseating kids like this presumably.

Anyway, i have rough old rhino claws that can mash any old bottle and it's why my daily mods are made of metal, despite my love of wood box mods.

If Bob or anyone else thinks a bottle/doctor/beer/woman/plankton is worth $20, then it is. Nowt to do wif me.

I like the idea of not spending $20 on empty bottles, too.

Me too, and I have a big enough supply of them to last for years.
I mean ... what am I suppose to do, throw them away :w00t:
Besides, I like that I can mix up the flavoring right in the bottle, and it has a cap that keeps it sealed until I'm ready for it ... then just screw it in, and I'm ready to go.:p
I might mix up 20 different flavors at a sitting ... I like changing it up all the time.
Even the small bottles last a long time because I have a lot of mods going at the same time .. each one with a different flavor.

Yeah... but, when considering they are 5-10% of the cost of the mods they are going in, it really doesn't seem that irrational - especially when you actually get to use them. Game changers, for me.
Compared to other tidbits it is fair.

$20 is negative contact upgrade on a CCII.

Or a matchy button or two.

Etc.

I'm embarrassed to say,... I've never been to the BOK Center, buddy. :(

I don't get out much...

Peng's advice sounds solid, tho. :)

As usual...
I wouldn't last long over here in Tulsa, I'm afraid I'd end up shooting someone for cutting me off in traffic....and that was Saturday traffic. Can't imagine if they were in a hurry during rush hour,

Ha !
You should see the way people drive here !
You have to constantly be on the defensive watch.
People turn out of the wrong lanes...they just go ! Left out of the right lane...right out of the left lane...
And NEVER just take off when a light turns green here...

Hi. I bought my second CC and love this mod. :)
But I have a really annoying problem. Bouts have the silver contacts and after some time they look like this.

And I have no idea how to get it clean without removing much from the silver material.
Also these dark spots on the aluminum are really annoying.
Any tips how to clean this properly?

Arent they like 20 per bottle, tho?

Thats insane
You'd think that until you actually try one!! As Nate mentioned, complete game changer... Think O-16 type of game changer my friend!!
I'ts $20 to SHIP, I think. And maybe $20 each if you buy direct and 10 at once...and if you can get 'em.
If you are on FB they have had group buys in the SP group. I bought 2 a while back and the only shipping charge was from the stateside shipping that I chose... I think it was $6.50 for priority to me. I could've chose the $3 option as well...
One cannot be told how good they are....

One must experience it, for oneself.
Amen my brother!!!

I think it was Drifter that pointed out the most obvious thing about the BFX bottles... You're spending $300+ on a device and you're gonna :censored: about $20 for a bottle to go in it?

Admittedly, for those that have 10+ devices it would be pricey, but if you only have a couple they are a no brainer in my book...

Buncha lunatics around here....

On the plus side tho....I bet the commute to work is never boring! :w00t:

Hey, decor! :)

You can use a superfine sandpaper, like 4 or 5k grit, on the contact. Also, you can use metal polish and a q-tip. You should then apply some no-ox-id conductive grease to the contact points.

Fine sandpaper or fine scotch brite is best to clean the underside of the cap. You can apply a thin layer of the no-ox-id to the underside of the cap, as well. This will help keep it from turning dark like that. Of course, the best way to keep the aluminum from turning dark under there, is to always make sure that juice isn't allowed linger there. I find that if I oversquonk, and juice runs down the side, it likes to seep in between the cap and body, without me noticing. Anytime this happens, I pull the cap and dry everything off under there. The underside of the caps on my personal mods are still bright and shiny, and I've never had to use anything but a paper towel to keep them that way. :thumb:

If I was arthritic, I would be persuaded...but, I am a bassist...
I made the mistake of saying that several years ago... Not so funny today as I have inherited every bit of it from Mom's side of the family and at 55 its not fun anymore!!! The bottles rock though...

It will happen to me too. Runs in my family. Plus as a bassist and office worker, carpel tunnel is a definite possibility.

I think its gonna take more than prayer for some of that!!! How can anyone let their device come close to looking like that? Especially one that costs that much!! Blasphemy...
