You shoveled all that?Well, that was fun. At least it wasn't nearly as grueling as it was when I smoked! Took a brief vape and water break occasionally and I'm no worse for wear.

The leather is awesome,it does not cover the bottom though. I did not make it myself, rglp4lyfe made them. He included two of them in the sale. I love the evolving condition of the leather over time, and with usage.I really like the leather wrap on your brassyDoes it cover the bottom too? Did you make it yourself?
Oops ! I saw this post after the other one. Thank you, yes it's #55, and it was RG's. It was a smooth transaction, but way harder for him than for me, I'm sure. I've done a little remedial work to it, smoothing out the heavy dings on the top with a file and some abrasives. Still not done yet, but I'm not looking to do a complete restoration, I kinda like the Beausage.Welcome, @Kelt. !
Your Brassy looks............familiar.....
That was RGLP4Lyfe's brassy, no?
CC #55, yes?
Nice jacket! RG does fine work, my friend.![]()
I can guaranty you've been trained much more rigorously than most school bus drivers.
And you've spent a LOT more time in snow and ice than most down south.
I suspect the latter is true for you wife.
Even on the off chance you do know what you're doing down here, too many crazies that don't that I don't want to deal with.
Much like when you go to a touristy spot in the mountains and have to deal with all the people that can't drive in the mountains.
That's an outdated, useless map. Here, this should clear upthe "Southern" thing.

No you's or you'ns.

I wish I could share what I saw last winter.Yeah, a lot is just knowing how to drive. But I actually agree about side roads for buses in the south. Not worth trusting a bus driver with the lives of young kids in that stuff down there.
I will never forget my last winter in TN. It began flurrying (never did accumulate) and the newspaper said 114 cars were abandoned, some in the middle of busy intersections in JC.
I went out for pizza.

The bus drivers got nearly twice the actual road time in a shorter course.
I must say it is my opinion that bus drivers, especially school buses should have to pass a very intensive adverse driving conditions test to get their passenger endorsement.
And only the elite should be awarded that endorsement.
NopeWell, it may have changed, but when I was in school in TN, they certainly weren't elite.
My father carried a chauffeur's license for many years to be a substitute driver. Didn't use it often and finally dropped it.
A far as I know that's still all that's required. An extra written test, extra fee, and clean record.
I suspect the same is still true in many states.
I'm from Philly.I think "correct" spelling is youse. In some dictionaries

Kinda like WAWA and Subway "defined" cheesesteaks across the country.
Needs real chip steak, Boars Head brand new yorker American cheese and proper Amoroso rolls.
None of this whiz wit garbage...
You shoveled all that?
It's a class B by federal law.
Which includes air brake and passenger written test, inspection test, parking test and driving test.
Nicest thing I can say is no, you don't.I know some Philly folk that disagree on the cheese whiz.
I prefer provolone![]()

Then it's a changed since the late 70s.
A cursory look makes me think it changed around '86.
I wasn't riding buses at that point.

But anyone 20 miles outside of Philly is still clueless decades later.
