New CC owner, here. I got a 6061 on the classies a few weeks ago (thanks again @AlphaGuitarist!) and it's easily the nicest squonker that I've had the pleasure of using. The craftsmanship and performance is just top-notch in every aspect.

Just wanted to drop in and show some appreciation for a fine mod/mod master ;)

Will do! I gave it a good scrubbing, but I'm gonna have to pick up some scotch brite to keep it looking pristine.

Thanks, man :)
And I had a few Nuppins in the past but wasn't sold on them. This one came with the mod, so I decided to give it another shot, but this time with the turbo coil and wow...what a difference, the flavor is crazy good. Also a little more room for wicking, with the coil being in the center of the deck. I'm definitely keeping this one, that's for sure.

Lets see the coil please!! Love your CC set up!!
You'll have to excuse the poor lighting/phone camera, but this is what I'm running. 7 wraps of 26g SS 316L. 2.5mm ID, coming out to about .5 and wicked with rayon.

You basically just build a normal coil for the Nuppin, but leave the negative leg a bit longer. Then, once you have the negative and positive posts snugged down, just reinsert whatever you used to wrap the coil on and pull the coil inwards over the positive post. Just make sure it has clearance and doesn't touch the top of the post, you want a small gap in between. With this, you can have air hitting the coil from both sides, which for me makes the flavor outstanding.

Thank you @JamezC , that is fantastic!! I am the worlds worst coil builder and I needed a visual for the nuppin. I keep trying and can never get it right. Cheers!!!:thumbs:

Don't worry, I'm a certified hoople and I was able to manage it....after a few tries

Looks great  That's the only build style I run in all my Nuppins :) ...spoiled me from running anything else :D

With the coil up so high do you need to squonk harder & more often to get the juice up to the coil or is the juice that's soaked up by the wicking ample to produce nice vape? I use ReadyXwick and wondering if I need to make the wick longer to sit on the deck to soak up juice. It's not as "fluffy" as cotton wicking, more like a garden hose. I've always pondered trying a turbo coil setup. :glug:

Congratulations and welcome to the CC ownership family! If you have some no-ox-id or deoxit, put it where the cap meets the body and on the magnets. It will help a lot to keeping it clean :)

I like that style cutout, myself :)
