My second CeeCee is a 7075. I don't remember exactly when I got it, but it's been a while. Late 2015, I think. This mod has some miles on her. I've always kept the outside and the contacts and such in good shape, but last weekend, when I was doing normal maintenance, it occurred to be that I'd been neglecting the bores and they (particularly the one for the bottle) were getting pretty nasty:
So today, I decided to see what I could do with some tools:

Not perfect, but a heck an an improvement, no?
OK, the bore mop alone did not get down into the lower corners of that hole very well at all. So what I did is to cut a square of white (#7445) Scotch-Brite cleaning pad, stuck it in the bottom of the hole, and then used the drill and bore-mop to spin that.
FWIW, I actually like the white Scotch-Brite (or Bear-Tex) better than the gray that's the "recommended" stuff. The white "cleaning" pads are the least aggressive ones, while the recommended gray ones are the one step up in coarseness. You still get a brushed finish on the outside, but it's a bit more subtle, which feels better in the hand to me.
