Spinners were built totally different back in my day.

At times they were pretty good for stress relief, though.

But rarely good enough to eliminate what they caused.

I'll trade you spinners, your looks way more fun :D

Is it just me or does anyone else think the V4 cappy bottles are a PITA? I can not seem to find a way to fill these without them leaking?

Don't really see how there's a problem with leaking when filling them? If they overflow when replacing the tube and cap then you've over-filled them. Seems simple enough. The tube will displace liquid.

Eddie is right, don't fill them all the way up. I fill mine up about 7/8 from the top so when I screw the cap on there's still a little bit of air space left in the bottle.

I have tried unscrewing stainless cap and filling that way. Also tried the squeeze into the larger narrow tip through the tube without removing cap. Either way they always leak. So your BFX V4 Cappy soft bottle does not leak?

Where's it leaking from? Around the threads or where the tubing passes through the cap?

As was mentioned, if it's just a matter of the bottle overflowing when putting the cap on, just put a little less juice in it. The tubing displaces a fair amount of liquid when you install the cap, so if the bottles too full, it will overflow.

I am officially out of the Cappy bottles now, btw. Back to standard bottles for me. I do like the looks of those Lukkos silk bottles, tho they are only 6.8ml and seemingly hard to get...

I'm waiting on the new silk bottles to arrive. I got some on the way thru a group buy. The big advantage that I see is that the top cap will release the built up pressure as you screw the cap down. That's why you are getting "overflow" not "leakage" from your Cappy. As others have stated you are getting overflow from overfilling not allowing for tube displacement, PLUS the air pressure building up as you screw down the top cap. Supposedly when you fill the new silky bottle you only need to allow for tube displacement but no air pressure build up when screwing the cap down, thus allowing for slightly more juice in the bottle than the Cappy. Even though it's stated as 6.8ml vs. 8ml you must allow more room in the Cappy bottle to prevent the overflow so the capacity difference ends up being minimal. I do like the Cappy as I am getting used to just filling and having a napkin on hand but looking forward to the trying the Silk bottles.:pop:

Will do. Actually I'm surprised no one has chimed in about them. I know a few people out there already have them. (Russ? Always has the newest stuff first!)
I got the notice last week that my payment was received so waiting on shipping from Italy, estimated around 4/15 so I'll keep you posted.:thumb:

Latest group buy update says that the bottles should be shipping out "mid month" but due to the large number of orders it may take a bit longer.

Don't fill the so high and use a cloth to tighten. I find when I hand tighten I can't get that little extra that's needed to fully seal them. Leave a 2-3mm space at the top for displacement.

When you use the cloth to tighten if you displace any outside of he bottle it will be soaked into said cloth.

For sure I cannot get mine air tight without using a cloth.

Mainly they are used to fidget with in your hands. They are also called focus spinners because they claim to focus your thoughts. Others rub them like a worry stone. So basically its just a big toy for adults. Kinda cool to play with and definitely a conversation starter. They have become quite popular lately and even have a dedicated forum :) Ive seen some Ti ones with different weights selling for over $200, so you got high end collectors for these as well.

Aka

ADHD

Yup, exactly :)

If you Google spinners and you will find different kinds of styles of them. Some are simple, others can be quite elaborate with weights and different materials.

If you google spinners you better not do it at work given the traditional meaning ! As mentioned above!

I'd actually like to get one but I just can't afford it and don't have the skills to make one. Focus is an issue for me. As we speak I'm watching tv. Posting here and listening to news briefing. My hands are always in need of something. So I'll make do with. A poker chip or something.

What was the gb price?

So I have this one juice that is reacting very poorly to the standard bottles and one other bottle form nakther bottom feed unit. I can't explain why or what's causing the reaction but something Babur these two bottles is reacting for sure. No issue with bottles form other bottom feed units.

Thing is. The juice in question is my main adv and I can't vape it in the cc right now. I went nuts thinking it was contamination from cleaning products or something but at the en did the day if I out said juice in the normal bottle. Leave it for a day or two. It gets flat out disgusting.

Nay idea why a juice may react like that to two specific bottle types out of like ten ? No issue with the juice being stored in plastic bottles either. It son,y the cc/ reo bottle and the bottle from this other setup. Bottles from the istick squeeze and others have no issue.

It's confounding.

mine spill over when filling, if that is what you mean

as in, when the bottle has 3 of 10 ml in

think it is my filling bottle, and related to getting enough airflow

i DIY, so spilling juice is no biggy
easy fix for that........squeeze all of the air out of the squonk bottle, insert tip of fill bottle till air tight, squeeze fill bottle, squonk bottle expands back out as it fills.....repeat if first time doesn't fill all the way
