I absolutely can't believe the crazy stuff going down. The smoking nannys and fda claiming that eni juices are targeting minors to smoke? Are you frigging kidding me first of all you have to have a credit card to even order this stuff. Second of all this stuff is expensive someone on here said it is a $50 buy in and while that will get you a starter kit that is only the begining. You still need juice, you still need more batteries, you probaly should have more attys. 3rd of all this stuff is not hassle free constantly charging batteries, dealing with attys that are flooded, failing, not hitting right.

Ecigs target is smokers who have smoked for a while and are tired of cig burns in their clothes, tired of smelling like an ashtray, tired of burn holes in their carpets. Tired of not being able to breathe or smell things or taste things. To be frank I think with all the hassels that come with ecigs if cigs were not an option I would have never smoked.

Conclusion I totally think ecigs are worth the investment and the hassle and are a good alternative to smoking for a smoker who is addicted. They come with a lot of hassels and are not convient but is quitting convient? Is not being able to breathe,or smell things, or taste things.

For those who do not smoke and even think esmoking might be cool. Stay away nic is an expensive, nasty, and doesn't even get you high habit.

I think your points are all good ones...

Unfortunately (for e-cigs) the times when minors do not have credit cards are gone...

The fact is really that all the nay-sayers, finger-pointers, "child"-protectors, quit-or-die proponents, etc.. really don't care if it affects children or not. Your business is their business, and their business is saving you from yourself, encouraging government bans, no smoking sections in you house and car, etc... More control, less freedom.

These self righteous ...****s need to mind their own business and let people make their own decisions.... Unfortunately that is unlikely to happen..

+1

It's the same people that ignore our rights. You can pick a topic and they know better than you. It is a sickness. They are the ones that need help.

Just wait till they pass the health care boondoggle and the crap and tax bill. It's gonna get a lot worse. 8-oIMHO

I'd never say I think the kids have more sense than to take up with e-cigs, but after all, what are they good for but to get you off regular cigarettes, and they cost more during start up.

I've never seen a kid vape one. On the other hand, I haven't seen the adults do it either.

But smokes cost a lot less for a pack (that's startup) than E-cigs.

Bottomline; A kid might head towards town to get an e-cig, then, go into the first tennis shoe store they spot and get shoes, or mohawk hair cut or something else stupid like a pack of regular cigarettes.

I hate throwing off on kids...I know they're not all like that--just the ones doing the loudest talking. So no, they'll spend their money on something else.

Exactly. It's about power. Power over you, power over us all. The people of this country are begging for slavery. The truly frightening part is, it looks like they're going to get it.

And if this is all ticking you off as it does me then make dang sure you sign the petition!!! Please!! Also go to the Campaigning then ECA section of the forum and watch the video under "Protect our Rights! A must See". The pres of the Electronic Cigarette Association is an ex-congressman, non-smoker who used to to be a major proponent of anti-smoking legislation......obviously as pres he is now a major advocate and the video is amazing. Everyone interested in e-cigs should watch it and everyone concerned about their right to continue to vape should watch it!!!

Brewster, I absolutely agree with your aforementioned thoughts.

I would like to simply add that It may take a credit card to purchase all products that relate to an e-cigarette but there is another point to be made. Regardless of all the stops that the naysayers have put in place to keep minor from purchasing tobacco products, minors still manage to buy cigarette from the stores that don't care, have the parents that don't care purchase them for their minors use, or just plainly ask an adult off the street to buy them some smokes and offers them some money for doing so.
Now, I am surely not condoning any use of nicotine for minors... please, do not get me wrong. But, If all the methods that the U.S. Government, FDA scam-brats, and the like have not been successfull at stopping the sale of tobacco products to minors for such reasons... Then, why take the precedent to relinquish a emthod that helps smokers quit just because the possibility of minors that may get involved do.
I take the position that nothing will really stop a minor, either which way wether it be a tobacco product or a vaping product, from finding their way into being supplied by their own intent to use these products. This, in my mind, is not a reason to deny or infringe on everyones right to use this product because we can equally prove that minors will end up smoke tobacco products, anyway. I think it would be much better to simply stiffen the availability to purchase these products to help prevent the possible use by minors and let wll enough alone, but like everything.. the FDA and GOVERNMENT will stick their nose in it anyway.

my $0.02 worth for what it is worth.
Thanks, TOM
