Has anyone used a Big Dog VV mod? I stumbled across them and can't find any reviews on here. They appear to be affiliated with Pink Spot. What batteries does it use? Anyone care to share their experiences?
Info may already be on here and I am just unable to find it. Feel free to send me to the right link if you know it :)

I try to keep an eye out on all the VV mods I can find. I'm probably going to get a Buzz Pro, but I'm still shopping, and even assuming I do, I'll want a 2nd VV mod as a backup.

But I'm not familiar with this one at all.

I hunted it up....

And to me, it just looks like a fairly expensive VV box mod. The only feature it has that stands out is the digital display showing what voltage you are using.

Any mod that doesn't want to tell you what batteries are required on their website makes me a bit skittish. For the money, I'd rather get a buzz pro.

Seems the 3.7v and 5v regulated ones are made from AA boxes, which would lead me to think 14500 bats in them. The two VV mods are 18650.

Short of the "custom drip cups" everything else in them seem to be the same as what you'd find in a Madvapes box mod, all the way down to the horn buttons, for which the price is a bit extreme, and don't even get me started on the extra $30 for a single cell charger, one battery, a drip tip, and some unknown atty.

Baldr's link didn't work for me. This one did though. It seems there are two different ones. One takes 14500s and the other takes 18650s. I'd want to know whether they use a switching regulator. If not, I wouldn't be interested. I'd also need to know how many amps they can handle. It needs to be at least 3.5 amps. They might be okay but, for the money you can get something more tried and true.

I agree with you.
