I think I need constant change to make vaping interesting for me.
I am always changing up things and it always seems better for a short time.

I'm thinking its not better, just different. (though I have had my share of worse):(

Change is good I guess if you have the time and money for it.

One thing remains constant though .....

My Admiration for Mr. Robert O'Neil and my love of REO mods.

I have many, and they all have a time and place but the two that see the most action are.....
My First Grand from October of 2010 and my Oak Woodvil from the first run.
They both have boba's in them ..... do they both have boba's because they are my favorite .... or are they my favorite because they both have boba's loaded ?? Hmmm

I've had other mods and sold them. Good mods, mods that some people love and warship as we do our REOs .... they were just not for me. I waited 6 weeks for one (after my first REO) and couldn't wait for it to arrive. I kept it for a couple of months but honestly it only saw a couple hundred hits total while I had it. I just bought a new mod last month. I've been enjoying it, but I see it getting sold in a few more months ..... the "new" will wear off and it will collect dust.

My only other constant has been a result of moving into REOville as well.
Boba's Bounty :) I keep AVE Hype, Root Beer, and Gorilla juice on hand at all times as well.
But I haven't gone a day without Boba's in 8 months. Though when I first got it I had to cut it down almost 50/50 a few months later it was 70/30. This last batch I've been doing "straight up"

I've settled on a couple attys, but will always try the "new kids" when they come out.
The Joye LR 510 in bulk from VK and Cisco 2Ω 306 from Avid are my goto attys.
I've had them all though. Cisco 510s in 1.5, 1.8, 2.0 and 306 in the same Ωage
IKV 510,306,801,901,canons, and a few of the cheaper attys along the way.

I've tried a buch of cartos as well. I keep coming back to the simple and cheap Boge 2Ω
I spent months with CE2s, modded them, made my own tanks and syringe mods for them.
bought a MAP tank and used it for one tank full of juice then sold it to MX because I sold all my other mods too. Tried the IKV cartos that others rave about .... not for me. I saw nothing but amazing reviews for the dual coils so I tried the XL and regular length .... not for me.

Cartos go out with me most of the time, and when I am home its almost all atomizers.
The cartomizers just make for less mess and more simple consistancy that I wan't when i am not near all my equipment and supplies. Plus the blind squonk works better for me with cartos than atomizers. Kinda need the blind squonk to be safer driving or in the dark.

For juice I've given up going crazy with new flavors. I might tack a new one or two on an order, but gone are the days of 10 or 15 samples at a time. I won't miss that.
Either I am dam fussy or a lot of juice just plain sucks :)
I came home from vapefest in Feb with at least 30 sample bottles. I tried them all and never put a single one on order.

On to voltage, I like them all. ([read] VV REO please)
I do 85% AW IMR and use them from 4.2 to 3.9ish and recharge. Just hard to beat the big mAh.
(Just ordered 4 MNKE IMR batts too thanks to MWA)
12% 5v batts with Cisco 2Ω or Joye SR 2.3Ω .... thats a great vape but the mAh sucks.
3% 6v with IKV 3.5Ω 510 (the 3.5 ohm 306 sucks IMO for some reason).
About the only time I throw the 6v in is early morning if I wan't a real kick in the azz.
(sometimes when I am sick and can't feel any TH too.)

I wouldn't trade any of the experience though ..... it really is all about the journey not the destination (if I ever reach one)

I've learned a lot, I can look at the specs or construction of an item and have a good idea of how its going to work now, that can only save me some cash in the long run.

So the experimenting makes it fun for me, and we all know vaping is a hobby.
And we all love "vape mail" right ?

I've learned that I could get by with one single set up:

REO Woodvil
AW IMR batt
Joye LR 1.5Ω 510 atomizer
AVejuice's Boba's Bounty.

And I could be 100% comfortable by adding a second set-up

REO Grand
AW IMR batt
Boge 2Ω cartomizer
AVejuice's Boba's Bounty.

But that would be boring now wouldn't it. So I will continue to use discretion and try new things on a smaller scale. Of course I will continue to share my opinions with all my good friends here.

So thats it, for now.
Everyone have a great day and stay safe!

BH, rowing in the same boat with ya. I have IMO the perfect at home vape in the Grand. Found my perfect atty a few months back thanks to Issac. Juice I DIY + 2 vendors I enjoy. Now if Rob would make a Midi with the AW 18490, I'd be in heaven. Not a woodie mind you. I like the mechanical mods. No worries about overheating anything when chain vaping which is 99% of the time. No worries about taking it out on the ranch. I just want a solid workhorse with good batt life that can hit well. Rob, are you reading???;-)

I think it's just human nature to keep chasing what we envision as better. Typical, we had it all along. Now to just keep reminding myself I'm a reonauti and there is nothing better for me:lol:

Here, Here! Nicely spoken, Tim. When Big Hitter speaks, I listen. Tim is the man who led me to the Boge cartos which I like very much and his lessons on their use made the transition easy. He also led me to the outstanding deal from VaporKing on Joye510 LR attys which are my everyday vapor producer. Keep up the good work, Tim. You are AOK in my book.:)

Good post BH, I've found you to be an invaluable asset here on the forums. Would you explain a bit about the MNKE IMR? This is the first I've heard of it.

Its supposed to be a good alternative to the AW and I though I would give them a try and share my opinion.

I really wanted them for one reason ... they are a flat top ... I like the longer button throw when a flat top is in the grand :)

It gives me hope, BH. I'm still trying to find my perfect setup. I love the fact that we're all different but it makes finding the perfect setup harder since I can't just copy someone else's. I like change, but I prefer to keep things simple. Once I find my faves, I'll stick to them - but maybe throw in something different every now and then just to change things up.
