306 Big time issue

Hey all..

I know long time since i been on here.

But one thing is for sure i never sold me reo grand lol. And i just picked one up for my buddy Darker blue body and black door came in today.

Anywoo

So i have 9 306 atties from Rob and reosmods and there are a few problems.

Now for the main ISSUE THEY DONT FIT

Just a update*** SO i guess there is a big time tolerance issues on the batch on Ciscos and the lr 306 from reosmods.

So if you have this issues please contact the vender and they will replace them and make sure to note if you do get them from avidvapor you do tell them in comments there for a reo so they can test fit them before they send them.

First is they are ohming all around the block from 1.9 2.0 2.1 2.4 some even 3.0 and i thought they were supposed to be 1.6 ohms Does rob check any of them when they come in? IDK.

Now for the main ISSUE THEY DONT FIT MY REOS> they screw down one thread if that and then don't turn anymore. I mean WHAT THE HECK. So upset cuz i was going to give a few to my friend for his first reo.

Also i have 6 Cisco 306 atties. SAME DAMN FIT screw down once then nothing else.

I dont understand what the heck is going on. Did cisco and Rob order from the same batch that both used the same connectors i have no clue.

All ordered from both sites first of the month

PM Robert. He will be able to tell you the best. I know that some of the Cisco's had problems with threading on REO's. They will take care of it also.

Rob will probably want to re-tap the threads on that Grand. I'm sure he will also take care of the attys that metered way above what they were supposed to. Just shoot him a P.M. and try not to be too miffed. Stuff happens.

Yeah just frustrated that i have 16 atties that dont fit lol.
And its not just one reo its 2 it doesnt fit on from 2 different dates way far apart and even on one other mod.
So who knows

Stuff happens but alot of bs happens with me That why i get ticked some times.

So sorry to hear that! PM Rob and let him know the issue at redeyedancer. He's great about getting back to people and making them happy vapers

Get back to Avid Vapor to, ask for an exchange or refund -- I know it's not DOA but they might as well be if you can't use them.

I hope you have some other atties that are working for now

EDIT: I did have an issue where my HH357 didn't fit on Grand - Luckily I have a backup Grand and it fit there - but when I told Rob about it, he told me to send it right in and he would adjust the connector I think. I didn't send it in, but it was really generous of him to offer his help. He's just wonderful!

Hi Bigwill Nice to see you again...even if its not to report good news.
There has been a recent resurgence of atties not threading correctly. Here are links to a couple recent threads about it. Rob checks the mods to make sure atties fit several times before they are shipped. But I don't know about the atties. As others have said...send him a PM, he'll make it right. I know you're busy, so I'm sending him a PM with a link to your thread so he is aware.

What i would guess it would be. Just a plain oh Threading tool. When i use to CnC machine we had Threading dies that fit in the tools but we would also run them by hand sometimes to clean and check the threading.

Someone should ask Rob what size a 510 is it wouldn't be a bad thing to have and you can pic them up at Home depot or lowes. Sears hardware and so on.

Hello Bigwill I will replace the bad atomizers .I don't check all the atomizers .I do test each and every mod that goes out of the shop. Each mod has a atomizer threaded on at least 3 times before it leaves the shop .I cant control the atomizer company's .Send the mod in I will adjust the mod and send it back with replacement atomizers.

Not a common size but I bet you could find a chaser or bottoming die on the web.

Not the Reos i know you make sure they fit that's not a issue.

Hi, yes I had the same issue with cisco 306's that I ordered in the past few weeks. I just got a new mini though and they do fit on that one.

I'll stretch this to say I hoard and don't keep track where I've bought and involuntarily dissected a couple of 306's over the couple of days and snapped an acrylic cannon completely in half along with one... and figure I have ECF Veteran on my member description.
