Big Hitter's take on dual coil cartomizers

Before I begin let me say I know I am in the minority here.
Heck I just might be the only one ..... I don't like them ..... actually I think they suck.

I have 3 different kinds from 2 different vendors.
I have Short black ones and the XL in black and steel and they all have the same issues.

1) Big one, the flavor sucks. No matter how long you let them soak the first 20 hits are terrible
Then they are OK for a little while before the flavor is gone again.

I had one with Boba's and one with Gorilla juice loaded. After a couple of hours I could not tell which one was which .... WTF

2) The draw is super stiff compared to a Boge Carto ....
3) They cost more and perform worse than a Boge Carto ....

I know some or a lot of you love them, thats fine I guess.
I hear things like "awesome", "amazing" and "not in the same league as a Boge LR carto"

Well that last one is right, the Boge LR carto wins hands down IMO.

I wan't to like them, I tried for a month. I've used 17 of them but most only last a couple of hours before I throw them out

I've tried 3.7, 5v and 6v. I've tried over filling and under filling them.
I've let a couple soak overnight before the first hit .... still retched nasty flavor .... Yuk.

There is a point where they are better than a single coil .... but its a tiny window from maybe hit 20 to hit 60 .... thats just ......ed.

I gave it my best shot. Movin on .....

BTW, they perform much better at 5v IMO .... but they don't taste any better

A 3Ω Boge carto is the clear winner in the 5v arena IMO.

I still have several brand new ones. I really liked the taste and vapor in the first 4 I tried, but the draw got too tight on all of them within a day or two. I need to find a clearish liquid in 80/20 that I like and see how they perform with that.

I tried them and do not like them for the same reasons. IMO not worth the $ Just my 2c

I put my boxes of them up on the shelf for my "end of days" or to swap stash.

The reason I didn't care for them is they seemed to be juice hogs, and needed topping off far too often. I could have lived with that if they were producing plumes of vapor, but it was less than the Boge's. Oh, and they scorched my juice something awful.

The Boge's are my sweet spot for vaping- I don't think I'm going to look around anymore. Second runner up was the Vortexes- but they're sort of a moot point with a Reo. For atty's I stick with the Extremevaping 1.7 ohm.

i happen to like them, only issue i have had is due to threads on 2 out of 15, not perfectly straight when on batt connector

they are thirsty, i must admit, common sense though, 2x the coils = 2x the juice ?

on a side note...my taste buds may be fried, but, bobas and gorilla juice taste very similar to me, i love them both

just my 1 cent worth, i dont think i qualify for 2, lol

I agree that the taste is muted. But i like the idea of the clear carto. SMOKtech 2.0 ohm SINGLE COIL Clear Cartomizer is pretty good not as good as Boge 2.0 but I can see the juice and control the squonkage...

Cant rely on common sense I guess because you would think the could produce 2x the flavor and 2x the vapor .... Not !

they do for me At least at high voltages .. At lower voltages I agree with your statements

tastes pretty damn good too, but thats probably thanks to isaac and his most excellent brew, lol

since i hear the praises of the boge, how about steering me in the right direction...

exactly what are they called (comparable to my duals) and where can i get some (vendor specific), i would like to give "the best" a try for myself

Well I gotta agree with big hitter they won't work on my vv VMU and when they fire it won't go above 3.8 so for me it's fail because I get plenty of throat hit and heat but average vapor if I had a straight 5v regulated mod I imagine it would be a different story
On the other hand ikenvape is going to design and betatest some custom American built DCs so there may still be hope

I love these things. I bought a 5 pack awhile back when I got my honey beez juice and I've had one last 2 weeks still giving great taste/th/vapor. I compared them to a ikv lr carto and I liked the dual better. I bought like 20 ikv cartos anyways though because they are great and I love supporting all vendors lol.

This is terrible. In a humanitarian effort I will take them off your hands. As long as they are not the clearo, fluxo, suckomizer types.

Seriously, where did you get these? They are my favorites now, along with the IKV Fusions.
