Unfortunately, the manufacturers are supplying people with what they want and that's the duals. They fail to tell you that over time, the duals will kill the MOSFET switch in your battery. The eGo battery does not supply enough power to the heating coils to properly fire it so basically, it strains it.
Also, low resistance depletes your battery quicker which weakens it over time. The duals need a true 3.7v for them to work to their full potential but the ego is only capable of 3.4V under load. One more thing, low resistance puts out a lot of heat. Once that heats enters the battery, it doesn't play well with your switch.
Bottom line, yes you can use them but at your own risk. If you have the money to replace your batteries and you like how they perform, then do it. If you don't have the money to replace your batteries, you need to stick with regular resistance. I have 2 ego batteries that are used everyday for the last 11 months. They still work as they should but have never seen low resistance. I only use duals on non proprietary devices...it's the safest for the batteries.
