Thank you Cash!

Finally, someone breaking it down for us. From my dealings thus far, I truly believe you have given the most accurate depiction of the situation.

Thanks again for your perspective. I was about to have to pull out the finger for the second time in the same thread and no one wants that!

I agree, Jaaxx. I want knowledgable people to set me straight on all of this. I hope I'm not annoying you by discussing it, though.

people seem to forget a few rule in life for good relationship.

1- We are interested in others when they are interested in us.
so become genuinely interested in other people.

2- The only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it.

3- If you want to win people to your way of thinking.
Show respect for the other man's opinions.Never tell a man he is wrong.

4- If you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically

5- If you wish to win people to your way of thinking.
Begin in a friendly way.

6- If you want to influence people to your way of thinking.
Let the other fellow feel that the idea is his.

7- If you want to change people without giving offense or arousing resentment.
Try honestly to see things from the other person's point of view.

8- Be sympathetic with the other person's ideas and desires.
If you were the other person, of course you would feel just as he does.

9-Call attention to people's mistakes inderectly.

10- How often we ride roughshod over the feelings of others, getting our own way, finding fault, issuing threats, criticizing people in front of others, without even considering the hurt to the person's pride!
So let the other man save his face.

and the list go on and on..............

have a great day all of you.;)

My order from China has been held up in the US by UPS and submitted to the FDA and/or the Dept. of Agriculture. Money back? I don't know. My order was only starter kits.

Did your order originate from central trade?

I'm still trying to figure out what's up with the disappearing/reappearing liquid over there, and whether the issues are just CT or anything from china.

"China's ultimate goal is to take over the world." Well they're prety close to owning us. The US owes them trillions. However, I truley believe that the only reason packages get held up in customs is primarily the way they are packaged. They probably are either leaking, or become untaped. It is sad, but many people who have lower paying government jobs are not reading the labels on the boxes unless something is calling attention to a particular box. Then they see it says cigarette, and it's tossed. There is really not much else that would account for so few getting held up. Think of your last visit to the post office or Motor Vehicles. How much diligence did you see? Same people, different civil service test questions.

it should show outbound out of customs within 24 hrs. If not, then there's a problem. You can track through HK Post site and through USPS.com site (and there you'll want to click the show details bit).

Just knowing it isn't an instant sign of bad news is good news. Thanks mate.

Geesh,
I was so excited about the 901 I got the other day, that I have been thinking about opening a brick and mortar store to sell e-cigs and supplies locally here in Central PA.

Reading this thread though has given me serious pause.

It sounds like the whole customs situation, even on hardware alone, might make it impractical at best, and impossible at worst.

If I knew one tenth what Steve knows, I might feel better, but then again maybe not.

IMHO, if it becomes too far seperated from the e-juice, then it runs the risk of being classified as paraphernalia by the DEA. From Bongs Away!: How the crusade against drug paraphernalia punishes controversial speech - Reason Magazine Lots of other interesting info at that link

wow wow wow. That is one great article, Outwest. Thanks for posting that. I have to agree with your assessment and man does it ever show the tight rope that needs to be walked with our devices.

I have been actively advocating for ecigs to be marketed exactly as head shops do for their vaporizers, but it's obvious that could be problematic as well. That article does, however, mention vaporizers briefly as being viewed as having a legitimate use for consuming medicinal herbs so I have to hope that our vaporizers can slip into that niche.

What is really apparent to me from this thread is that we need some American manufacturers to start making our devices so that this dependence on Chinese product can be relieved.
