If that is the case, I would have no problem with making my own zero nic juice at home.

Yup, pg and vg is readily available along with flavorings. Invest in a couple RBAs as well. Cotton, ss mesh, silica, kanthal and nichrome are easy to get and legal.

My real fear is that Big Tobacco will do to ECigs what they did to analogs, added chemicals and toxins. Anybody smoking for over 20 years know analogs do not taste the same now as they did 20 years ago. They added a chemical to the paper to make the cigarette go out after sitting for so long. That really altered the taste to me.

The FDA required them to use decelerant after they began regulating them. That was not a decision of any of the BT's.

Not reading the entire thread...but will, this is my knee jerk opinion to the OP's original post.
I am not a fan of the big companies becoming or playing any part in the vaping game due to all these years making the money that they do from the weak, poor and rich . The numbers are incredible. They should have been contributing a hell of a lot more money than they have been for disease/cancer research, communities, educating, hospitals, healthcare, etc.. They choose to spend it on themselves and their will to create their own fail safe economy.
All of a sudden they are sitting around in their plush offices, lives and planning their next move to become a player because they see it as more of a compition to them. This is apparent from the history they carved in the past. The number of vapors and e cig users that are finding this a safer alternative daily is staggering and they have done the math.
They also know that it is a way to make up for the money they are losing due to vaping.
I may be too much of a conspiracy theory guy but, this is my intuitive reaction. I'm not even going into the govt payoffs and political influence they have developed through the industry. I will bet somewhere there is a connection between govt and RJ Reynolds and/or the rest (my own pshyco babble opinion, I do not know this for a fact).
As far as I am concerned the big tobacco companies can ...off.
I also understand the money and influence they bring to the table is significant but they are hipocrites in my narrow field of vision on the subject.
Don't mean upset anyone, just a guy from Idaho with an education and many years working for the Govt. with an opinion.

But I love the handwritten thank you letters the Mom and Pop juice places give me at the bottom of my invoices when I make an online purchase! BT won't do that!

Well, then I guess they would have to throw in fogging machines in with it. There's a utube video where someone took a fogging machine and actually vaped it! He coughed like hell, but he vaped it.

Like I stated in another post, it's not a nicotine delivery device unless it contains nicotine. Many ejuice vendors offer ejuice with 0% nicotine. In that case, it's not a nicotine delivery device in that case because there is no nicotine present.

You can argue with me all you like, I work in clinical research and know what the FDA can be capable of and what oversight they can have. If anyone, anywhere in the US uses it for nicotine delivery, then they CAN label it as such. And moreover, currently they have these classified as a tobacco product, which is totally ludicrous.

Actually I'm glad to see it... money talks. They have the high-powered lawyers to challenge. That's always been the problem fighting for any cause... money. As for the mom and pop shops.. yeh, I saw it happen with low carb products when it was all the craze. They disappeared when the big national brands hopped on but the consumer actually got a break with lower prices than mom and pop could offer. On vaping: If mom and pop make better juice they'll still get the business and, personally, I think they will. BT will also do more research on health related matters for their own protection which we are sorely in need of and should bring state-of-the-art standards to us. Not to mislead on my opinion... yes, some mom and pops would disappear but not the quality ones who are offering a better product than the big national brand vaping ones now even... anyone check out Zickwid prices lately?.... sheesh.

I for one won't patronize ANY of the Big Tobacco companies , not a one, and will continue to buy from the Smaller vaping shops who have been around since the begining or back in 2009 when I started vaping, and I'd rather see them make the $$$ for once its there turn, rather then big tobacco, it's time there products went bye bye ! Big tobacco has done its harm and why I started vaping to get away from all of there products, plus I wouldn't necessarily trust what " extras" they where putting into there juice, not for a second, they'll have people re-addicted to there products, and fast, there not my friends and I've seen to many die from there products, just my personal views.
