Genesis atties are famous for cooking the juice. I have a juice that would literally get a hundred shades darker with my genesis atomizers. The same juice doesn't get one shade darker in any of my Kayfun style atties. So the juice makes a difference but if you are having problem with Kayfun style atties then it might be you are doing something wrong. The chimney should never remotely get hot enough to cook the juice.
The chimney is connected to the threads which is part of the deck which is directly connected to the coil leads. Also, fire your coil and put you pinky finger 1 to 2 to 3mm's away from the coil and post a pic of the scar you receive from the burn you receive. To say the chimney should not get "remotely hot" is an imbecilic statement. It gets super hot and cooks all that juice wrapped around it...

The guy with 26 posts gets it.

I'm talking about any rta, rba with a tank that has a larger chimney taking up almost the lower half of the tank, The Lemo, The Nautilus, Foggers, KFL+s...all of them...Aquas....It does not matter what's inside the chimney. It can be a 1.6 ohm build or a .6 ohm build. I do chain vape. Anything coming into contact with the chimney, ie; JUICE, is getting heated by the exterior layer of the chimney and heats. Then it cools then it heats then it cools, etc. By the time this boiled out juice reaches the wick and coil it is so degraded and nasty I end up pouring it out instead of letting it run into the chamber to be atomized. The hotter the build the more heat gets applied to the juice sitting in the tank wrapped around the chimney. It's a waste of juice to me. My wicks and coils are perfectly installed. I use KGD and Rayon and the wicks are always clean as when they went in after running 10mls through them. Yea the coils can get gunky depending on the juice I am running through it.

Everyone is all over these larger tank rba's and rta's but what good are they if all the juice is degraded by the time you vape it. The first half of the tank vapes perfect as the juice has not been exposed to all that heat for a longer duration. The 2nd half, not so much.

Never had this problem with any of the tanks mentioned.

Currently running 0.6Ω 24ga build in a kayfun for a mech, and some 1.2Ω 26ga builds for high wattage in the Lemos.

What I have noticed, is that after a build has gone through a several tanks and the coil and wick are good and gunked, said gunk begins to backfeed into the tank and discolor the liquid. At that point, it was long overdue for a re-wick, and that's my mistake.

You make a statement that no one agrees with and no one has experienced but we are the imbeciles...lol. I take exhaust type hits directly from the chimney all the time and I never burn my lips....so no the chimney should never remotely get hot enough to cook the juice. The only way the coils will get hot enough to make chimney hot is if you're not get enough wicking or not enough airflow....both of which are user error...noob.

Lil nervy there huh junior. Put a sock in it and put your lips on all the "chimneys" you have to and swallow all that "exhaust" too...LOL....I vape the fried nic degraded juice too...mostly I pour it out though...

I started another thread about boiled out juice in large capacity tanks. Many agree. The chimney heats up with the build. It has to. Here's a pic I just took. This juice started out fairly clear...now it's sludge.

as long as your looking up my posts, look at all of my near perfect builds and wicks...maybe you can learn something....

The leg bones connected to the...oh.

The chimney being connected to the deck, which is sitting tight on the mod, all acts as one big heat sink. If your chimney is hot enough to boil juice, I'd be freaking out thinking I had a battery short before I noticed an odd juice taste.

I've melted batteries with my hybrids.

The problem I have with your statement is that you dismiss all tanks as sludge makers. I've vaped about 60 ml of Mother's Milk through my last Orchid build and It tasted the same as day one. I opened it up yesterday just to look at it and had zero gunk and never any discoloration. Either your tank or your builds suck. I don't much care which it is, you pick one.

I am sure I could learn something from you but you come here acting like you know for sure the chimney getting hot is the problem and you don't pay attention to any of the posts trying to help you out. The first atties like the 801 you could exhaust hit those and the atties would never get hot enough to burn the lips. As a matter of fact that was the original dripping. Look at cartomizers... they are basically small chimney atomizer and they never get hot enough to burn the lips. Before inserting the base into the tank of the kayfun take 5 hits directly from the chimney....again the chimney will only get a little warm and not hot. If the chimney is getting hot enough to boil the juice then what the hell is coil doing to the juice?
Again the picture you showed is what would happen to one of my juices in gennies (it would start out clear and get much darker than the juice in your picture). With gennies all un-vaporized juice goes back into the tank...so slowly your juice gets caramalized and gets darker and darker. But the same juice never gets a shade darker in Kayfun style atties.

I am not sure why your juice is caramalizing like that. All I know if your chimney is getting hot enough to boil the juice then something is wrong. You might be vaping at way higher wattages than you should be. Maybe your not rewicking enough. If your coil and wick is super gunky that will back wash into the tank. I have had juices where I have to rewick after a couple of tanks....while another juice I can vape a couple of weeks and I don't feel I have to rewick the cotton or dry burn the coils. Does your juice get like that even with a new coil and new wick?

Maybe it is time you took a Chill Pill WR.
Fact - I Vape directly off the Chimney of my Kayfuns - 1.3ohm and My Orchids .3ohm and .6ohm on EVERY Build to be sure they are Drawing Properly before installing the Tank and filling.
NO BURNED LIPS!!!!

Not sure what you are doing, but you are doing it wrong. A Bare coil turns Cherry Red. A coil properly wicking NEVER GLOWS. That alone says it is not getting as hot.

Welcome all the tank shillers to the thread. The chimney heats the idle juice in contact with it. To deny that is imbecilic. A gunked coil/wick will not be the cause of 2 mls of juice becoming spoiled with zero nic value as its all been heated out of the juice. It's simply the contact with the outer chimney BEFORE it gets near the coil and wick. Any rta...take your pick. I own 5 of them. ..all the same result. If you enjoy that type of vape hats off to you...if you are an owner or a shill for rta's I could care less.

Hit the tapered small end of the chimney 5 in a row using a .6 ohm build...whatever build you want. Give it 5 good solid 4 second pulses. ..okay....NOW...deep throat the chimney and wrap those same two lips around the base of the chimney, the fatest circumference of the chimney and SQUUUUEEEEZE.....tell me how cool that part of the chimney is?

I tried this except I didn't "deap throat" the chimney at the end but I grabbed the base with my fingers the first time to make sure I wasn't going to burn my lips needlessly. I would not suggest anyone try this but I did use my lips the second time...again it was hot but not enough to burn my lips and not hot enough to boil any juice. I did it with my Fogger v4.0. Even though the fogger vapes great it is a piece of crap...everything is paper thin including the chimney. I don't know what to tell you but all I know is if you are getting the chimney hot enough to burn and discolor you juice you are doing something wrong.

BTW the same thing happens in drippers. I am guitly of over drippping...its a fairly common phenomenon. I discolor my juices in drippers worst than I do in my tanks. I find that I tend to rewick my dripper more often than I do my tanks.

Done attempting to get the point across to the Chimney TROLL.

Some people never shut up long enough to learn anything.

Try rinsing your tanks once in a while!

I'm out:facepalm:

*Note - 5 Tanks WOW, I have 8-10 fulled at any given time and have had up to 15, but I couldn't keep track of what was in which.
