I am not convinced it's as bad as some of the rest of you will. It tells me, Big T realize to stay in the game they'll
be required to complete in the e-juice industry. Sure many of you will disagree with me. Im not saying that its
good or bad...just see writing on the wall telling me they'll soon be using dem ole tobaccy fields down in Virginny to
create harmful eJuices and devices which keep them in business. WHen Lorillard Inc bought out Blu, I thought
they'd be silly to ruin the product. They'd be a lot smarter to realize vaping is here to stay, so they'd best find a way to cash in on the profits. No doubt this is going to be a controversial thread. lease share your thoughts.

They do not want to compete, they want to put everyone else out of business. The game plan is simple, establish themselves as a player in the market place which they are doing now. Then get nic juice tied to the same regulations as tobacco products which will AUTOMATICALLY mean internet sales are banned. This will prevent any imports of juice from other countries and put nearly every if not every single other juice supplier out of business since they rely on internet sales to stay in business. After that only those people that are able to sell enough juice at B&M locations will remain. With BT being the only ones selling their junk in every gas station, grocery store and Wal-Mart they will be the last ones standing.

that is a pretty wild conclusion to jump to

what makes you think any of that is true? joe camel doesn't make federal regulations and e-cigarettes are not a tobacco product.

BT is in my backyard. I have family members and many, many friends who work/have worked for BT. People in VA have paper checks (yes some people still use them) that say "This is Tobacco Money" on them!!! All of that to say, I really want to try one. I confess curiosity. I am not above purchasing a Blu if my backups' backup fails. I just don't want them to take over! I support SMALL BUSINESS! I work for a small business and recently took a 5% paycut due to company financial issues, but I still work there. I just wanna try one. I fully intend to support my vaping community though. Am I horrible?? I would feel so guilty!! LOL! Am I making any sense at all tonight? :D

No they don't "make" regulations, they just lobby to have them made and make substantial campaign contributions to those that support their proposals. The FDA tried to regulate ecigs as a Drug but a federal appellate court ruled against it and made the ruling that eCigs were to be regulated as a tobacco product. So YES from a legal standpoint they ARE a tobacco product. All that remains is the banning of internet sales.

I am never one to cry conspiracy, but it is a conspiracy. States pushing to tax/regulate e-cigarette products, Big Tobacco is losing sales and coincidentally developing a number of PVs set to be released this year, the end goal being to squeeze out smaller manufacturers and eliminate internet sales. For the obvious reasons. I don't think it's a rash conclusion to leap to at all. If it comes down to that, I'll quit vaping. It's preferable to being a slave to BT again.

I think this country is rhymes with chucked if/when Obama loses the BT tax. How will we afford to give iphones and 40's to the deadbeats on their porches all day? Oh, I mean those poor souls with no prospect of earning a living because the man looks down on them just because they're high, have a face tattoo and dropped out of the 4th grade.

He will just raise taxes on the rich...which he defines as pretty much everyone that is still working.
