Big vaporizers in public

Yes I do. I've used mods the size of a BB, Silver Bullet, Provari, and V.V. Griper. I've been vaping for 10 months. I reached the point where I don't care if people see what I'm using. Who cares what anybody thinks? What are they going to do? I've used these in front of security guards and police officers at outdoor concerts and professional sporting events. They don't even blink. And Cincinnati is one of the strictest, most conservative cities in the States.
People out your way are clearly different.
Out here? What the heck you think they'd think? Prob some really good oil in that tank...evidence all day.
I can tell man..I can tell. Ever smoke a blunt? How cautions were you? Yeah, I said it...Get real bro, a lot of these devices, shall I say ALL of them, look, to the naysayer, like a bust waiting to happen.

I vape anywhere someone else would smoke. The worst I have had is some odd looks but I just make eye contact and smile at them and that often makes them come over and start asking questions. I understand the reasoning why some people smoke whenever and wherever but, for myself, I just feel that the best way to educate and win others over is by limiting any actions while vaping that would rub others the wrong way.

So, why do you care what THEY think? So what if they think its a b**g. IT'S NOT. Just ignore the stares or finger pointing, if you even get that. Unless personal vaporizers are illegal where you live, you're not breaking the law.

If there is anything that I have learned by vaping in public, its my own insecurities that can cause an issue. If I am stealth vaping and someone sees me, they automatically think I'm trying to hide something. It's a freak'n atomizer, dang it. It's water vapor, not smoke. Vape with confidence and innocence.

If the attention will bother you, then sure stealth vape if you must, or do it discreetly. Personally, if I'm not breaking any laws, I'm not letting other people's misperceptions dictate what I use. You can see my stuff in the link of my sig. It looks nothing like a cigarette, and I'm glad it doesn't, too. It's the association of the name "e-cigarette" that is causing so much trouble in Washington, now.

About the only place I don't vape is church.
I have had people approach me and ask about it, almost always with genuine interest. The only time someone was hostile was outside of my bank but I told the woman it was for my lungs (which is the truth) and she apologized.
I vape at work, in my car, walking down the street- heck, I vape in the grocery store. I save the business cards I get with my orders and give them to the people that approach me.
It's all about how we act and conduct ourselves.
If we try to hide it, or act like we are doing something wrong then some people will see it that way.

Vape like you breathe- not hiding, but don't be a .... about it.

I bought (and maybe wasted too much money because of my own insecurity/taboo feelings) 3 smokeless image batteries and a ton of cartomizers almost specifically for public smoking (and I find that I actually kind of like the convenience of a small cig like device when I'm at my laptop and doing other things). I just don't feel comfortable using my vision spinner and big vivi nova clearomizer in public. I get questions even on the e-cigs now and having such a thing in public people are almost certainly going to think I'm taking hits of something else. I'm young etc. So it would look bad I think.

Everywhere, bars are fun..girls ask what is that?...its a pv and vibrates as well, i am starting to see them more and more and allot has to do with seeing other people and wanting to try it, I try and guide people in the right direction so they dont start with a crappy gas station one and give up on it....so vape on!

Thanks for all the replies ladies and gents. I will be getting something larger in the future even if it stays home. My wife doesn't seem to like anything but real cigs and really isn't trying very hard to quit. With the volt I am smoking a pack every 4 days instead of 1.5 to 2 packs per day, so I can see the results without really trying hard.

I use whatever I want at any time. I don't care what people think. It's not illegal. Alot of people notice. Some of them ask about it or are very interested. You know it's damn hard to explain vaping to someone in 5 minutes. What to get. Where to get it. How it works. Luckily I have a cool boss and bring my ego and mods to the office. :vapor:
