Thank you to the OP for asking this question. As a new vaper I've been wondering this too. I have to tell you though that your description of what big models look like made me laugh. I just bought a larger battery model and used it while driving to work. I did wonder what other drivers would think if they saw me using it. Lol. :)

wow i hope im not giving kids a bad exampl.... i just started vaping yesterday and my kids think its hysterical... but its brilliant.. tho at the moment i have information overload.. worried about burning out the atomizer and cleaning more than enjoying it... will this pass????? it all seems so finicky...

I know it's a bit of overkill, but I have 3 VV tube mods, an 18650 Epower and a Twist, each with their own ViVi Nova tank- that's a ton of gear but I spend less than 15 minutes a day cleaning, maintaining and filling everything. Oddly enough, that's about the same amount of time it took me to run to the corner store for a pack of smokes...

I have a Vamo and Silver Bullet (with Kick extension) that I use in public daily, and a couple of eGo Twists that come out every now and then. The Vamo and SB tend to catch a lot of attention, and I end up explaining what they are somewhat often. It's sort of neat getting to discuss them with strangers since a lot of people know very little about vaping outside of gas station e-cigs/Blu.

Up here wipping out my Svoemesto at a bus stop quickly gets me space...and privacy (people turn their backs from you, drift a few feet away,etc)...its all good if you ask me.

No questions asked ever,if not the obviously annoying "is that (stuff that cant be named here) you smoking?"

Doh.

I use my eVic everywhere.. At work, in my car, at home, wallking in the street, etc...

At restaurants I don't vape but I intentionally leave my PV on the table next to my phone for waiters/staff to see and ask ;)

It's good a nice way to raise awareness about PVs, if we all "show vaporizers in public" intentionally... Our already increasing number of vapers will skyrocket in no time.

I vape tall and proud w/my shiny chrome Young June Lavatube 1.5t. I openly vape wherever I am when I get the urge. Coffee shops, bars, restaurants, the public library, grocery stores, etc... My basic attitude is 'I'm too big to be shy'. I don't get many complaints, more of the '... is that?'. Also, very few places have told me I can't vape in their establishment and the few that have don't get my business anymore.

No problem for me vaping with bigger mods (Buzz, Zmax, Vamo, Lambo mini, Twists, etc) in public. I'm always respectful of non smoking areas, people in close proximity, I try not to be in anybodys face about it, etc. Just because "you can", doesn't mean you always should IMO. So far no negative comments/attention. For those who have asked; I've politely explained what it is and what it does, and how it has completely stopped me from smoking. I've even converted a few smokers because of vaping in public.

Driving in the car...no problem. Game on! I've had weird looks in gridlock from other drivers...but I could care less what people think. I'm not doing anything wrong or breaking the law. If a cop sees me and pulls me over because of it, I would love that conversation! lol I got nothing to hide anyway. I remember watching a baseball game in a park with my parents when I was about 7 or 8 yrs old and we were drinking apple juice that happened to come in clear glass bottles. A cop came up and asked my parents what we were drinking (LEO thought it was beer)

I think vaping is becoming more widely recognized. I've seen Blu ads on TV and heard V2 spots on local radio. There's a brick and mortar shop that just popped up in my area complete with a "sign spinnin' guy" waving at cars outside on the street. I've seen the smoking area at my work go from a few cig a likes a few years ago, to a few egos/CE4/DCT and the like today. It's pretty amazing how fast things have changed.
