Like many folks, I started off on 808 batteries and cartos. They got me off analogs and I am
very happy with the equipment and the results. So I join this forum and read and study and wonder
why everyone is wanting bigger batteries and big tanks and such. Well, I ordered one of those larger
Riva batteries and wow what a difference. I'm pumping out vapor and taste like never before! This
battery lasted me since 7pm last night and I'm still blowing steam this morning! I'm almost dizzy.
Now I understand what all the bigger and better is about. Now I get it. I want to spend more money.

Ahh.. you've got the mod bug already.. and after only 2 months. You may want to stay away from the classifieds or shred your credit cards - there are way too many toys coming your way. :)

Have fun - it's a blast trying different set ups, juices, battery configurations, wattage and voltages. Best of luck on your new hobby and possible obsession with all things vape. It's so much more fun than smoking analogs.

Rest assured there will be something new to try again next week.

a Buzz huh? Well I was thinking that with some of the negative reviews and problems with the riva, I might
consider something else, but what could I get that is 808 compatible and around 12 bucks! I like the idea of a riva with a removable and replaceable battery, but then you are getting into VV and much more expense it seems.

If you like the idea of the Riva with changeable batt, but still want low cost and no VV...then you want an E-Power :)

:confused:Welcome to the run your credit card up club.I was just priceing bigger batterys.I'm kind of afraid of the vv models.I don't know why,I guess I just don't understand them.

VV mods they're just vaping devices where you can change the voltage, warmth and strength of the hit you get with your device. My mod for example, is a VV box mod. I take off the back and there's a white knob I can turn up or down to adjust the voltage. It's pretty awesome. I love it myself.

The Riva and my usual 808 cartos give me all the taste and hit I can stand. Don't feel like I need any
variation on this set up. I was just looking at the long term when I would have to replace the whole Riva
because I don't think the battery inside is replaceable? It seems the next step up is 5 times the cost?
I do own a soldering iron and maybe modding is in my furute?

More expensive? Yes. Not really 5x the cost though.

If you are handy you can make your own. Many good models to choose from though.

    All the best!
