I am looking to get bigger clouds out of my current set up and am looking for advice. I currently have an Innokin itaste SVD vv/vw device with a Kanger AeroTank with a 1.8 omh coil. When the coils are new it puts off pretty good vapor, but I am looking for more. I do not want to get into the rebuild tanks. Will I get bigger clouds by switching to a 1.0 omh coil? Is it safe? Will my itaste SVD with an 18650 battery work with the 1.0 omh in the Aerotank? Thanks in advance for your advice.

I'm fairly new to vaping so someone correct me if I'm wrong, im guessing a 1.0 ohm coil would produce more smoke than a 1.8, less resistance?...

More airflow equals more vapor. The aerotank while nice isn't going to get you what you want. Look into one of the many subtanks. Kanger has a good one. I don't know how low your itazte can go. I'm not familiar with it. You will most likely want go get a new setup just for subohm.
You can get a fairly decent "cloud" set-up pretty cheap these days. I would suggest looking into the 40 watt eLeaf iStick or the Innokin Cool Fire IV, paired with a sub-ohm tank of your choice. I prefer the Atlantis v1 and the FreeMax Starre (I prefer the .5 ohm coils).
The 40 watt iStick comes with temperature control, but honestly, unless it's something you're truly interested in, simply ignore that feature. It has a longer battery life than the Cool Fire IV. Both are forty watt devices. The iStick can read resistances as low as .15 ohms. The Cool Fire IV can read down to .2 ohms. While the Cool Fire IV only has a 2000 mAh battery life, it is a functional pass-through, which means you can plug it into the charging cable and continue to use it after it's died.
As far as the juice part of "more vapor" goes, most people who are into sub-ohm set-ups prefer juice that is either high or max in VG; VG stands for vegetable glycerin and it is what provides the bulk of the vapor. If you do choose a sub-ohm set-up, I would suggest bumping your nicotine level down to at least a 6 mg (if you haven't already). Most people use 3 mg, but I do enjoy a nice throat hit, so I use 6 mg. I advise against using anything 12 mg or higher, as you could easily over-nic yourself.
A set-up like this can be purchased online for around $60.

which SVD do you have, the 15W or the 20W unit? you might be able to increase the vapor a tad... by dropping down to .9 - .8 ohms ( my SVD fires a .75 ohm coil) it wont be a serious increase but it might get you a bit more..
I would try a max VG blend. 80VG/20PG. When I tried that ratio or anything close to it, I was completely satisfied with vapor production and taste. That's on an RDA which you mentioned your disinterest in. Try the juice change first and then once you get to a point of not being satisfied... come on over to the DRIP SIDE
