VERY informative little interview. Nice to see people standing up and saying the things that the more reactionary groups refuse to listen to. Hopefully as more and more information becomes available people will start to figure out that risk management is a viable method instead of the extreme prohibition many groups advocate. What's next, since people CAN get hurt or die while driving, will we be forced to never drive above 10 miles an hour? Better yet, let's just make people WALK everywhere. The "Nanny" mindset is just getting out of control, adults have the choice to engage in behavior that might hurt them, and the responsibility to see that their behavior choice limits their risks as much as possible. We wear pads/helmets when engaged in sports, seatbelts when driving, etc. Why can't they see that e-cigs are the same concept? Yes, we COULD get hurt smoking e-cigs, but by using them, we're limiting our risk to a massive degree as opposed to sucking down burning chemicals.
The kid marketing is just stupid, I have not seen one single "young" person around here with an e-cig, everyone I know who I've gotten to give them a try, or run into who uses e-cigs, are my age (40) or older. Every time a young person comes up to me and asks if I have a smoke, are wanting an analog and look confused and depressed that I'm using an e-cig. They think e-cigs are "geeky" or something and want their analogs.
