I was also told stacking would also be safe if you use them correctly too charge the same time make sure the one that starts on top is also always on top and to never use them seperatlh after using them together after using them stacked

You want to alternate which battery is on top. When stacking it is VERY important not to discharge your batteries too low, as well!
Stacking does need extra precautions, and if you're winding your own coils, is usually unnecessary, as you can get the same results with a single battery (by adjusting your coil resistance).

Also, when stacking you really need to leave a bit more margin between the max the battery can safely supply, and the level you vape at.

Since I don't know the particular batteries you use, I have no idea whether that 10.5A limit is real or not. However, IF that is real, and IF you want to run at 7 amps or below (which might be a reasonable margin), use a coil no lower than 1.2 ohms. You would probably want to use one significantly higher than that, though, since a 1.2 ohm coil will draw about 57 watts.

At that power, your batteries will give you about 6 minutes of total vaping time (assuming they really are 700mah batts).

See I have two 18650 35a batteries in my box mod but when I put one in my new panzer I purchased today it does nuthing but rattle and shake all over the show?/:

Just adjust the pin in the top cap to take care of the battery rattle. There are many videos on youtube if you are unsure how to do this.

The concern with stacking is that if the batteries are not identical with identical state of charge then one battery can be overdrawn causing failure and venting.

When running lithium chemistry batteries in series you MUST:
1. Use a matched pair of identical batteries.
2. Use an accurate volt meter to make sure that the batteries come off the charger at the same voltage, if they do not, get a new pair.
3. Alternate the position of the batteries on each charge and use cycle.
4. Make sure that you do not discharge them as deeply as you would single batteries.
5. DO NOT SUB OHM. The currents can be high enough to throw off the balance of the batteries during your draw, and this is bad. There should be no need for this because of the higher voltage provided from stacked batteries.

You must be absolutely .... about your battery monitoring and safety when stacking.

DUDE!!! I'm assuming that you really don't have a firm grasp on the whole battery thing if you're asking this...
Like Susan, twgbonehead and HMav already said, it's a really, REALLY bad idea to do that in a mechanical mod unless you know how to test and pair your batteries! once you find 2 batteries that have as close as identical discharge characteristics, they must be "Married"... until death do them part...
You really need to read up as much as possible before you even consider stacking!
Here is a place you can start... and pay close attention to the Stacking section!
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...eper-understanding-mod-batteries-part-ii.html
Stacked or unstacked?
In some mods, you can fit two 18350's when the mod is configured for an 18650. This boosts the voltage output from 3.6V to 7.2V which means more vapor. Yay. BUT, you should NEVER do this. Unless you are familiar with matching batteries, you are only endangering yourself and others.

You may think, "Well, shucks, laptops have multiple batteries in them, why can't my e-cig?" Laptop batteries are specifically designed for stacking and are paired for use at the factory. When using un-matched batteries, they will discharge and provide current at different rates. This means one battery will continuously take more of the stress than the other.
You may not notice any trouble at the start, but as the batteries age with use the problem will become more severe. Push the batteries a bit further and now you've entered the realm of thermal runaway (see pics at beginning of this blog). Downside being that one battery entering thermal runaway will push the other battery into thermal runaway. Now you have two small, flaming explosives only inches from your face.
And...

I would highly recommend you thoroughly read up Before even considering it.

I've got two purple efest batteries just have them a full charge off my intellicharger i2? I also have two efest 2500mah 35a batteries I like to stick with efest seeing as I've never had any problems with them in the past with charging or whatever else for that matter I've been vaping with my box mod and with the two 18650 batteries my ohm reader said my coils was a 0.38 with a duel coil in it? If you lot deffenatly suggest just using one of my 18650 batteries I shall do that just let me know what sort of build I need to aim for roughly please for one single battery?:)

Your top cap pin needs to be tight against the top and then you can adjust the other pin to the battery.

The battery MUST be at least a 20 amp HIGH DRAIN battery, I have never had the need to stack battery's for any of my coil builds !!!!!!

I've got a pair of efest 18650 2500mah 35a batteries currently on charge?

Under no circumstances should you try to vape that 0.38 coil on the 2 stacked batteries you discussed above!!!!!

Your 35A Efest batteries are only 20A continuous (not 35A as marked). See blog #17 below.

If you are new to mech mods and rebuildables I highly recommend you spend some time with Baditude (one of our resident battery experts) and visit his blogs. You are now 100% in control of your own safety (and others around you). Make sure you purchase an ohm reader and a voltmeter or DMM so you can measure your builds, check for shorts and measure the remaining charge on your batteries.

Baditudes Blogs. The blogs regarding mods and rebuildables are listed below:

BATTERIES

9. Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected ICR?
* Another essential read to understand which batteries are safe to use in mechanical and regulated mods. Includes a frequently updated list of recommended safe-chemistry, high-drain batteries with their specifications.

17. Purple Efest Batteries Not As Advertised
* A cautionary blog that reveals that the purple Efest batteries may not have the specifications advertised. Also includes a commentary on "continuous discharge ratings" vs "pulse discharge ratings" of battery specs.

OHM'S LAW

14. Ohm's Law for Dummies (Vapers)
* My attempt at explaining Ohm's Law in layman terms and how it relates to vaping.

16. Explain it to the Dumb Noob: Ohm's Law Calculations
* As simple as it is to use, some people have a tough time grasping the concept. Warning: Includes graphic photos of mod explosions.

MECHANICAL MODS & REBUILDABLES

7. Information Resources for Your First RBA
* An essential read and reference guide for someone new to rebuilding coils. Includes a multitude of useful links on battery safety, mod safety, coil meters, coil building, and the differences in the three types of RBA's.

15. Inexpensive Mechanical Mod and RDA Setup
* A response to the frequently asked question on how to get into rebuildable atomizers with a mechanical mod inexpensively. Includes a list of commonly used tools and supplies for rebuilding and where to find them.

BATTERIES - WHERE TO BUY

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US. I don't have any links for batteries in the UK. Sorry!

* RTD Vapor
* Illumination Supply
* Lighthound
* Orbtronics

Yeah, sticking with a single 18650 is the better way to go. There really is no practical advantage to stacking batteries in a mechanical mod... especially considering the dangers involved!

Just a little more food for thought... after all, we all got into vaping for the "Safer" aspect! No need to increase risk to that level at this point!

Please put the mech mods down man! What you did in the quote above is a battery no-no. If you have a dual-battery box mod, you should buy the two batteries together, use them together, charge them together, and alternate their position every time you charge. This is called a "married pair" of batteries. You just divorced them by using one by itself in another mod. Now since they're not equal you have the possibility of failure due to one battery trying to pull the load of the other, so to speak.

Don't stack either, especially with that .3ish ohm build. Read everything Susan~S linked for you, it will keep you out of the hospital.
