Hey guys I think I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a Provari. My buddy at work got one a couple of weeks ago and it's fantastic. I'm on a kgo right now but it's not performing the way I'd like. I use his Provari and it's amazing. I was just wondering if there were any of you that could recommend good accessories for it like tanks, cartos, attys, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks so much

I'm sure there will be other good suggestions, but I'm really glad I got the ego adapter that Provape has (Ego-T Adapter). It's good to have around just in case you'd like to try something like a Ego Stardust. I'm really enjoying the Phiniac tank on my Provari Mini (Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks). Both are relatively inexpensive ($6.95 for the Ego adapter), and $38 to $40 for the clear Phiniac tanks (Bling cost more).

Here's what I use, and a lot of other people will probably suggest the same as it's a pretty common setup:

Provari
Boge 2.0 and 3.0 ohm cartos
Stainless-steel J-Tank, modded with a 10-32 fill hole

I use only acrylic/delrin drip tips, because I don't like the feel of metal in my mouth (humans have been smoking for thousands of years, and I don't think I've ever seen a tobacco product that uses metal for the mouthpiece). I also tried and don't care for ceramic and glass drip tips.

That's pretty much all you need, other than juice. Device, carto in a tank, and good juice.

have some machinist abilities or a friend that has some of the capabilities. If you are going with a tank make sure to get the punched cartos or get some type of carto punch. I went to home depot and bought a saddle valve and then machined a block of aluminum for the carto to slide into and set the pipe thread depth so that I screw the piercing mechanism to depth and obtain the hole size I'm looking for. I then seen someone post a carto punch that looks alot like the one that I built :p

I have had mine for two days and love it! I have boge 3.0 oHm cartos that came with it and made my own tank from a syringe. I have been finding my voltage to be between 4.1 and 4.4
What ever you do get or make a tank! It is really the way to go if you have a juice you stick with.
I have not had a chance to drip with my baby yet, but dripping for me is if i want to try a new juice or just want to switch through out the day.
I really think you will be happy with the ProVari when it arrives. I think their cusomer service person will be happy I now have mine because I sent every question I could to her and she answered every time (with a smile).

I've been debating on doing this with one of my J-tanks. I have the extra tubing, screws, drill bit, threader, etc. Just not sure if I want to have that screw hanging off the side, though. Decisions, decisions....

It's very much worth it. I modded a dripper-top (the standard ones that are on every juice bottle) with a stirrer straw from a local restaurant to make a small extension to fit the hole. I used a drill bit to open up the dripper top a bit to fit the straw. I can fill the tank over and over again without spilling a single drop, and I can fill it completely except for a small bubble -- enough to last all day. I could never get tanks close to all-the-way-full without the fill hole.

I currently have a 10-32 stainless steel socket head cap screw in mine, but I ordered some phillips pan heads in the same size (stainless as well) that will sit more flush. I'm waiting for those to come in at my hardware store. Also, the length means the screw locks in the carto. I know the J-Tank is tight, but it's another level of security that the tank will absolutely not be coming off the carto.

I think I'll try it with one of my J-tanks tomorrow. I've got all the stuff to make mom and pop tank clones, so I'll just put in a screw like those tanks have. I also bought some of these so it's easy to fill tanks like that when I'm out and away from the house without carrying a bunch of stuff. I've been using the 5.5 J-tanks, but I swear the caps are getting a little bit deformed from pushing the carto in and out over and over to fill, even with the slap yo mama attached. This would help prevent that, too.
I'd be careful about tightening the screw against the carto too tightly. I've read that there are some people with the m1a1 tanks that are getting small cracks in them because of doing that. Of course, you can always just cut another piece of poly and make a new one if that does happen.

I used a drill bit a tad smaller than the diameter or the tubing that I used which was the lil red tube that comes with a WD-40 can, this works well for the thinner juices but if you have a heavy liquid it may not work as well. I am going to buy some materials and make my own tanks, probably be cheaper to buy them. They are never in stock though.

That cap is pretty much what I made myself with the stirrer straw. The only difference is, I have no way to cap mine, but a full tank lasts me quite a bit longer than a day, so I don't really need to carry juice.

I don't tighten the screw against the carto too tightly; in fact, I had to shave some of the length off because it was protruding and too tight on the carto. So it's 1/4" minus the amount I filed off, probably 1/32". Perfect length now, but I'll have to do the same with the pan heads when they come in. It's worth it for the ease of filling.
