Congrats!

What have you used before?

I had a gazillion clearomizers when I got my ProVari, and still use ProTanks some. But I tried a carto-tank, and got hooked, and have been "collecting" some really nice ones. (Of course, now I'm also thinking I should get a Russian or KFL+, even though I know I do NOT like to fiddle with building coils - but just so I HAVE one, and just in CASE it's REALLY a far better vape...)

I do recommend a good carto-tank. It's pretty easy, runs a long time without fiddling, and provides what I think is slightly better vapor and flavor - and more consistently - than my clearo's did, even at their best.

Cartotanks are great on the Provari but not necessary. If you do want them most will tell you to check out IBTanked. That's where I got my first nice cartotank. If you want to stick with clearomizers you can use the iClear30, s, or b. There are others, the Aspire and Protank. I just ordered a personalized Phiniac cartotank to start myself a collection of fine carto's. I can only afford them one at a time and on occasion, but they are worth it. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to give you more selection than I provided. Good luck, Congrats on the purchase, and Happy Vaping :vapor:

My current setup is an iTaste VV V3 and have been using Aspire BDC ego style clearo's. I don't really know much about rebuildables and what not. Doesn't really sound too appealing to me, never really been good at fiddling with small things like that. I know I do prefer the bdcstyle over the top wick type had some iClear16's that were good but just never really liked the way they feed. Also tried EVOD's but never had much luck with getting them to not flood. I'll stop rambling now. Thanks for the help and advice.

If you are going to stick with the Aspire tanks, you'll need a couple things. First, if you are using the ego style, you'll need an ego to 510 adapter, as the Provari doesn't have ego threading. If it's a 510 connection you'll be able to use it, but will probably have to get an airflow control ring (I did), as the tank gets the airflow from the post and can be closed off if you screw the tank down flush on the Provari. If you get the Aspire Nautilus you won't have that problem, because it has built in airflow control, but it does use different heads than the other Aspire tanks.

If you ever take the plunge on rebuilding, I can't say enough good things about the Kayfun family of RTA's. They look sick as ###s, too (to quote RiP Trippers - search YouTube for reference... which is my way of enticing you into rebuildables, since his enthusiasm for the subject is infectious).

As for BCC's, the Aspire family is solid.

I'd go with IBTanked carto tanks - you won't be disappointed.

For the Kayfun and the carto tank, I'd suggest a ring for the provari so the topper sits flush (many manufacturers make these and there is a whole subsection of this forum dedicated just to this little add-on - I like Tatroe's).

As for the provari itself, congrats on taking the plunge. Solid, solid device.

I use carto tanks and the Vivi Nova Aspires.
Since you already are using the BDCs, I suggest getting the bigger 510 threaded Aspires. I have no issue using them on my Provari. I don't use any added rings or air control. The Vivi works fine screwed all the way down.

Carto tanks are great too. It seems to me that they are the most popular topper on Provaris. The IBT tanks are the best value around. Which carto to use inside is a matter of taste. I prefer the Ikenvape and Boge slotted.

Enjoy your new precious and post pics when you get it.
