Today my wife and stopped into a vape shop that was new to us. I saw they had the MVP 20W. The guys behind the counter and I got chatting about it and jokingly I asked if they take trade ins, being that my current MVP 2.0 is only 4 days old. The man smiled and said yes, they wanted to take my MVP 2.0 + $50 to complete the trade. I would have in a heartbeat. The fact that my family needs thing is all that stopped me. Well someday I will get a nice upgrade.

vape ON!!!!

We've all been there. :) On the upside, if you don't need the extra watts and are careful about not overtightening your tanks, you'll never know the difference. On the additional upside, the MVP is built pretty well but it isn't unheard of for any batch to have defects, yet yours seems to be working perfectly. So it sounds like you're actually ahead of the game with something tried & true -- and if you only have one thing to rely on you don't want to be a beta tester. If it isn't obvious, this is all half-BS that I tell myself when I get into the same boat, but hey if it helps me it might help you.

As much as i am into supporting your local vape shop BUY ONLINE i never buy batteries, PVs, or tanks at my local shop their mark-ups are way to much for example i just bought an istick 20w online for like 33 dollars shipped, the local shops are selling them for 80+ i can't spend that much extra money on something i know i can get cheaper and most online shops have discount codes to get items for a good 10% off.....gotta wait a week for it to come in but the money saved is worth it

Originally paid $80 for my MVP 2.0

$80 is on the money for a B&M store in the UK. In fact, the UK largest retailer was charging $120 for while, then $85

Prices are a bit difficult to establish some of the time. The particular vaping chain store that was selling them for $120 (I paid $55 online) attracted negative publicity because their online sales are the same price as their B&M. This, in turn has encouraged an online backlash about buying from them at all.

I do use that store, but feel somehow that if someone is going to buy online, then they should get the price break of doing so. My local vape store will be selling the MVP 20W for about $80 and that's not excessive given the overheads of running a shop. They (the local store) don't sell online, so they are not overtly trying to have their cake and eat it with online sales at B&M prices.

bit confusing right now....is the MVP 20W the MVP 3 thats to be released or are they two seperate devices. Right now have the MVP 2.0, bought for £39 off ebay...apart from the higher wattage is it worth buying, tbh i never vape above 7.5 W so won't be upgrading unless the mvp 3 has better battery

From what I've gathered, the MVP 20W =/= MVP v3. (The MVP 3's supposed to go up to 30W and have a larger battery.)

From PBusrdo's review, the MVP20W is the old technology with a bit more power. The MVP3 is announced and uses the new technology. The new screen alone will be worth waiting for, in my opinion. (Which is worth little because I won't be buying either; I'm looking to build a DNA40.)

"The MVP3 is a 30W device with a 3800Mah Battery that can fire down to .4ohm and can charge electronic devices. It has a smart and clear OLED screen with intuitive controls, well placed flush stainless steel threads, high quality spring connector and a strong side fire button." -- Innokin Facebook page.

I can tell you my experience with online and B&M stores.

Bought a e-vic and a nautilus on a B&M for about 100€. Was interested in a big driper they had in store, they ...... me off with their attitude.

That's when I went to shop online. Already bought iStick for 35€, stingray X for 20€, veritas for 17€, big driper for 13€, vertex V2 for 6€, manta V2 for 11 € and waiting for a marquis for 9€.

The difference it's abysmal. With batterys kanthal and cotton, I have spent 130€ in online stores and have gear for the rest of my vaping life. If I had bought all this in a B&M I think I would had spent the triple.

FYI, the stingray X I bough for 20 € , was 45€ in a B&M store.
