Black cartos in tanks, or only SS?

Can a black carto be used in a tank? Will it cause the juice to taste bad. I've only see stainless steel cartos used in tanks, but I love my 3.2 ohm Smoktech cartos on my 5v Saber Touch (no tank). Please let me know pros/cons. Thanks

The juice will take the paint off and I don't think you want to inhale that, just saying

Agree with wendall - remove the paint first - clean - and you should be good to go.

And some are wrapped instead of painted...peel that off and remove any residual adhesive.
