Black Clove freebie from MBV

Yeah so I got vapemail today from Mt Baker Vapor. They sure do ship fast.
Got Absinth, Amaretto, and Hawk juice.

Black Clove was a freebie that was thrown in.
I'm not sure what to make of that one though. It's 80/20 @ 12mg and was made 5/23. It looks pink and smells sortof fruity and sweet. But the taste is...dry, like dark tea without sugar. Maybe it's me. I'm using an EVOD and tried switching heads to be sure it wasn't just a burnt wick.

Anyone else tried Black Clove yet? What are your thoughts on it?

Got the Black Clove also as the freebie, to me it tastes like a flavored clove (at least what I can remember of the analog version). It is a bit much for me on its own but have found that it is a nice addition to some tobacco flavors.. so I will be keeping it

In my experience most MBV juices taste better about 2 weeks after receiving them.

I got mine today as well with my order. I tried some in a cartridge just to make sure I'd be ok with it before I put it in a clearomizer. It tasted...different. I kind of winced at the first taste, but it was simply "ok" after a few more drags. I'll hold onto it for a while to see if it gets better.

I have an order coming in on Monday, I'm hoping my freebie isn't black clove as I just dont like clove-flavored anything........If it is Black Clove I'll hopefully be able to trade it in the classies.

Guess I'm gonna have to wait a few weeks before ordering anything from MBV. Not a clove lover myself for smoking or vaping.

You can request what flavor you wsnt as your freebie in the notes when you check out. Love it.

I've asked for a type of flavor before so they can still surprise me. I've also asked to not receive X or Y that I previously got as samples.

In my three orders that I've received from them, the freebies were... cherry tea, it was ok, but it gunked up the clearomizer after the first load. Raspberry lemonade, didn't like, too acidic, I ended up throwing it out. This one is the black clove, jury is still out but my instincts tell me...no.

Don't get me wrong, the ones that I have intentionally ordered have been top-notch, enjoying every one.

Yeah I found out after I posted when I looked it up. Still don't know if the flavor is right since I don't know what it tastes like. I just find it strange that it tastes nothing like the sweet smell I get from it. Maybe after steeping...

Yeah just request a specific freebie. I do it all the time. My last order I just got on Wednesday I requested Thug Juice 50/50 12mg and that's exactly what I got. MBV is awesome like that.

OP clove is used in dental work, it numbs the area for pain relief and gives kind of a spicy flavor that lingers and lingers and lingers. Did I mention it lingers? If you ever had dry socket, they used to treat with clove oil. It tastes so bad it forces you to keep your tongue away from the area.

In my last two MBV orders, black clove was the free sample both times, so now I have 2 fifteen ml bottles of it. Smells really good, taste is meh, but I'm not a huge clove fan. Oh well, at least I have spare juice in case of a zombie apocalypse.

I got the black clove yesterday as my freebie. It sorta reminds me of the clove cigarettes I use to smoke as a teen. It has a hint of black licorice in the background.

Overall its not bad, not something I would order though.

That is awesome you can ask for your freebie. I like 50/50 juice and the freebies are usually 80/20. I will have to ask on my next order!
