black stuff stuck in center tube

had a funny taste suddenly while vaping.
when i looked into the central tube, i could see that there was some black stuff stuck to the side.
tried scraping it off with a needle but nothing comes off and it is really hard.
put it into boiling water as well but it doesn't help.

any ideas?

What kind of clearo is this? What you can do for cleaning depends on what type it is.

ok. after like the 3rd soak i managed to dig it out.
no idea what it is though.
its actually light brown and looks a little like wood chips.

I think it might be glue.

transferred the juice to my other protank and same thing happened.
not immediately but after quite a while.

this time its like a ring around and not just a patch.
so far cant dig it out.

I had a little in mine awhile back. Assuming your tank in empty, look at the base of the tank where you screw the connection/coil on. Look where the glass meets the metal on the inside. There was a few pieces hanging out of a little gap right there.

nothing anywhere else but the tube.
is the mouthpiece/drip tip 2 seperate from the tube?
like they fixed it together?
when i look through the tube i can see a separation line.
think there is some crap stuck there

If it is the original protank the mouth piece/drip tip is all one piece. Try running a q tip down there with some hot water to remove the black stuff. Mine had the little seperation at the bottom/base which is where I found some of it. I cleaned it and scraped off what I could very carefully and haven't had another problem.

yea mine is original.
it looks like one piece but if u look through the tube, it looks like there is a line.
i could be wrong though as its pretty hard to get a clear view in the tube.

tried using a q tip but the stuff is really hard.
i may have already gotten it out on the 2nd tank but not sure.
was much easier cleaning out the first tank as it was one big chunk.
will try using it tomorrow and see how it goes.
