Well I extracted flavor from black tea making a concentrate .
mixed it with my nicotine mix at 18mg/ml
I let it sit for two days and I'm vaping it now
Wow it's a lot better then I was even thinking .
I do have one Q for that have made this before me.
Can you get a feel good feeling from vaping black tea extract ?
Best wishes all

It's been covered before but I forget in which thread. The consensus was that the caffeine wouldn't reach your bloodstream in significant enough amounts to make a difference given the tiny % involved per puff and the heat levels of the coil. Glad you liked your extract though. Did you use VG or PG? Hot or cold extraction? Is it gunking your coils? I ask because I've done cold VG extractions that tasted great but ruined my coils. Maybe I need to update my filtering method.

A pat on the back for your success! Is this your first extraction? What percentage did you use when diluting it to vape?

I've wanted to do coffees and teas, but I'm a little hesitant, afraid they might be flavored with oils. The highly-flavored ones I like probably are.

If you're using pure coffee and/or tea with no additives (i.e. organic), you should be fine. When coffee roasters spray or flavor their coffees they often use oils and liquids to achieve the final result which, even if ground fine, is still going to get into the coffee extract. That said, it is possible the flavoring or oils will contain diacetyl as well since inhalation is the issue with that chemical, not digestion.

If you're going to go the coffee extract route, I'd recommend french or espresso roast and leave the final flavoring to those that you would normally use to flavor your juice. To keep things balanced, you'd use less flavoring to extract; just enough to get the flavor you're looking for :).

I've created a few coffee extracts using some organic beans I picked up from Fresh Market, mainly for a trial run and it turned out pretty good. I didn't get it quite as strong as I'd like to have, but it gave me a good starting point.

I used 3tbs of black tea and one cup Pv
Put in mason jar sealed it and put it in a bath of water got it up to a light boil pulled it off the heat let it cool for two hr then strained it
In too clean mason jar .
I let it stand for a day then mixed into my Vg at 18mg/ml
1.5ml of extract to 8.5 Vg.
I like it too

I used Pg and I did heat it in a mason jar in a bath of water to a light boil ,So fare no gunking and it's still great .
