TFA Black Tea help

I'm trying to make a good sweet tea flavor and i got TFA Black Tea flavor extract and mixed at 2% in 18mg 70/30 pg/vg blend and it tastes like it smells, Like a mens musk cologne is there any way to salvage this into a better tasting vape or is this just one of those "bad flavors"

I don't have experience with that particular flavor, but with others with those characteristics I leave the cap off for a day or two, then put it in the 'long term steep' box to try in a week or two. You never know what it may turn into. Often that horrible perfumey-ness will subside.

what they said also rememner it will be like tea without sugar, just tea, so you may have to add some type of sweetener to flavor it up. just so happens i drink black tea and without sugar its strong and nowhere near a smooth or sweet taste.

I agree on the sweetener.

I used 2% black tea and 2% sweetener. Was attempting to make sweet tea, but it came out like a nice, black tea.

I might try adding brown sugar to that recipe to try for sweet tea again, since I can't think of any pure sugar flavorings off the top of my head.

to make sweet tea i use the tfa green tea....which actually tastes more like regular tea not green tea. it is what kbv uses to make thier sweet tea flavors(one vendor flavor i actually was able to replicate to a t, pardon the pun)

Thanks for the help guys and gals! i am leaving that one steep and will work on trying it with added sweeteners and try the green tea suggestion as soon as i get some extract.

I've been messing with an iced tea recipie using the black tea flavor. Got it fairly close and it's a nice relaxing vape.
Using ejuice me up:
7% EM
8% Black tea
9.4% lemon
.4 FA citrus
1% lemon lime
3 drops sweetner (65 drops = 1ml)
1 drop Koolada (not sure how many drops = 1ml)

The FA citrus is not the same as citrus mix and could probably be left out. I feel it adds a bit of bite to the lemon.

Have any other 'sweet' flavors? A few days ago, I had just finished checking on my newest sample batch (swedish fish) and then switched to some black tea--without first cleaning the atty. Was sort of a 'fruity tea' flavor. Haven't followed up on that yet, but hope to soon.
