Not Vapor4Life -- the South beach has an atomizer.

It's a 3-piece e-cig?

BTW they are a rip-off. $40 for a battery is more than double what a battery should cost.

Gonna be hard to tell. The pictures are confusing. Does the battery have male threads (protruding threaded end) or female (recessed threads)?

If recessed threads on the battery I would guess RN4081 because the atty looks RN4081 (if the ecig is a bit fatter than a cigarette.)

If protruding threads on the battery then I have no clue because the picture of the atomizer also shows protruding threads - do the carts push on or screw on?

And if it's a 3-piece why not just refill the carts you have? Did they come with the rebrander trick of foil on the end instead of a removable/replaceable plug?

I agree, it looks like RN4081 to me... just like Njoy Npro... and wow the prices are really high. Better prices are out there my friend, if interested shout out.

Sorry, forgot to include some info

I have a 2 piece deluxe model...I got it before I found these forums, but for now Im gonna stick with it.

The battery has a male connection, and the carts are of course female.

The first pic is a side by side of the SB cart (on the left) and a non-compatible one I bought at a gas station.. Im not sure if you can tell the difference in the 2 (from the outside they look identical), but the one on the right is made of cheaper aluminum looking material, and the gas station one is a little too big for the SB battery (the threads of the battery completely fit INSIDE the gas station cart without a thread connection).

In the middle is the battery, and the 3rd pic is a better pic of the SB cart.

Id also like to know where I can order the bigger battery in this style (I got a small and a long one in my kit, but I like the long ones for the obvious reason of keeping a charge longer)

Thanks for all the help!

WAIT - don't buy V4L cartos without more research

I am looking at the parts on the site and there are two models
- is your unit the 3-piece? Those look like RN4081 atomizers - my guess is RN4081 for the 3-piece
- if your unit is the 2-piece then -

If female (recessed threads) on the battery, then it is probably RN4081 w/ casrtomizers

If male threads on the battery means the 2-piece could be anything except RN4081
Possibilities include
KR808D-1 (Vapor4Life Vapor King), or more likely KR808D-2 aka E9 (incompatible with KR808D-1- see AZSmokeFree.com) or possibly E8 (which may be closer in diameter to a cigarette) in which case the only matches I know are the two rebrander models listed here for E8
A Brief Cartridge and Atomizer Compatiblity Guide | Excellent Electric Cigarette Information!

And sorry to say South Beach is one of many slick rip-off rebranders of e-cigs. We pay $15-19 for e-cigarette batteries. They charge $45. If there is a money-back guarantee on South Beach you may be best off to return it and get a popular model like the ones we recommend here, under their original names with reasonably priced parts.

No. We do not know which model the 2 piece Southbeach is. And even if it is not KR808D-1 (apparently not) it could be KR808D-2 (see AzSmokeFree for cartos for that) or E8 (only place to buy blank cartos might be China)

re refillable cartos - that means soft-caps - ones with a soft cap on the mouth end - the cap comes off easily and you refill by dripping down the inner sides of the carto into the stuffing, slowly, while rotating to fill on all sides. Rip-off rebranders do not sell blank cartomizers and generally use the harder to refill hard caps (or worse, glued on hard caps) because they don't want the user to refill them. There are tricks to fill hardcaps, like using the carto condoms (if the rebrander even put these clear soft caps on the ends of prefilled cartos) - some use the condoms to force juice into the carto, spin somehow to distribute it, blow out any that got into the air hole. I have not done this so if you want to know more about it I recommend you make a new thread and ask int he title.

There are also more exotic cartos for popular models (like 510) with a reservoir that needs to be filled with a flexible or other syringe.

Re South Beach - I think if you cannot get a for-sure identification and a reasonable source of parts then you need to just buy something else. But first give AZSMokeFree.com a try - they are the only non-ripoff vendor I know of who sells KR808D-2 parts (as opposed to KR808D-1 which they also sell). They only seem to sell filled KR808D-2 cartos though and I don't know if they are soft caps so ask them - they do sell a curved syringe which could be helpful for filling soft-caps. They may even know if South beach uses those KR808D-2 carts. And if so, ask them about how to fill them.
The Better Way To Smoke - KR808D-2 Cartomizers

Note - you can only refill cartos some random limited number of times before they die or you singe the stuffing. Running them all the way to dry shortens their life. But they also are considered disposable so the internal atty could just die even if you treat them properly.

If you cannot find parts for Southbeach but like cartomizers then consider getting a KR808D-1 instead (basic kits at various vendors, fancier colors etc at Vapor4Life.com and Bloogplanet.com)

Good - confirmation! Better than being E8!

Anyone know anywhere the OP can get blank KR808D-2 aka E9 cartomizers (other than China)?

There is a small selection of filled ones at AZSmokeFree

And here under "E9" are some other E9/KR808D-2 models which probably sell filled cartos and maybe one of them doesn't price the parts so high. I think AzSmokeFree might also have some batteries for these

Very confusing here with 2 people asking about the to different South Beach models...

A couple of us think the 3-piece is probably RN4081 - does the battery have the recessed female threads and the atomizer have the male ones? If yes then our guess is RN4081 judging by the look of the atomizer
