BLOOG Cartos anyone?

Not impressed or depressed with them.
They work fine but not much better than my standard cleaned prefilleds. They do look to have higher quality innards and do have a more uniform batting as well. I've burnt one already but considering it was Johnson Creek Dk Choc fluid, I expected it...even after thinning the fluid with 20% vodka to avoid burn.

So to me, a good carto but nothing overly special. It took off fine from first puff, but so did many of my standard prefilleds even after refill (yet many don't).

I'm going to give the Maxx Fusion a try too. I have a mod (Prodigy V3.1) that I use at home and an njoy Npro that I use during the day and I'm just not satisfied with the Npro anymore. It got me off the stinky sticks. But the 3.1 has spoiled me a bit I guess and I need some larger vapor/taste during the day. It really is too bad that my Prodigy is such a darn hassle to cart around with me during the daytime hours. I'm just not one of those peeps that can feel comfortable whipping out an "odd" looking device and answering all the questions while people wonder what I'm smoking.

I think there's definitely something to be said for the KR808D-1 tech. We need something that is a lot less intrusive for our time in the public and this is the only one I've seen so far that looks like it might not be giving up too much to accomplish that. If it's half of what I'm reading (everywhere it seems... even Vapenstein had to give it props and he's definitely a mod guy), it just might fill the bill for me.

Thanks to you too Papabloog. It was your posts that brought it to my attention first. Once I got to digging around though, it hasn't been hard to find many others singing its praises.

VAPIN' was here..... Where might he be next?

Vapin' - if your experience is anything like mine, this is a purchase you will not regret. I bought a 25 pack back in December for the initial release - I have since given 5 or 6 away - still have 5 in reserve, and have been vaping the remainder non-stop since I got my first set - the longevity of these cartos is nothing short of spectacular. So, they cost a little more up front. At least I don't have to buy a new set every week...

I'm not saying they're bad by any means. I just don't see em as anything special.
Well, I take it back. I didn't burn one. I've now burnt a 2nd one on Domestic J.C. fluid.

earth-> Domestic JC is 100% VG, to my understanding. I don't know if you've read any other threads showing that high VG ratios (I've heard of success with some 50/50 blends, depending on the viscosity) - have a tendency not to wick well in any carto with batting or polyfill. I use only 70/30 PG/VG blends from BwB - haven't burned a single carto - and these things continue to perform, perform, perform ...

Thanks PapaBloog, on the VG/PG issues/info. It was already a known to me, however.
I get that and do mix certain flavors 50/50. I do however use JC Domestic/TennCured/Domestic, and like em straight up as well, and with Bloog, I see little difference over the Kiosk house brand (and I'm sorry I don't know carto brand, but the cig brand is 21CenturySmoking.com as I recall). I do notice a quality in build over the cheaper ones(by dissecting them), but as far as longevity, I've had a few cook in both format style cartos, VG is my mainstay. I use JC Dk Choc as a "test" fluid. If any carto lasts through that, straight up, it's a good carto....all fail with it unless I mix with ~25% vodka, which just prolongs them, but they still fail.

I can't say that cost is even a consideration to me. Considering what I used to spend on analogs, everything seems cheap to me. I am willing to spend a wad of cash to get to the setup that works best for the wife and I.

I do place value on batt life and cartomizer capacity though. I hate it when I want to grab a quick vape and find myself having to pull out a bottle of juice and/or having to worry about how much is left in the last batt that I have along. It sounds like bloog put some thought into these issues with their handy little PCC's and from the carto reviews that Papabloog and others have logged.

I might have to rethink.
I fired off a fresh Bloog yesterday and the vapor was superior on this one (on my 808). The past 2 weren't special One I cooked bad on JC, Dk Choc, which tells me they are not immune to that favor.

So far so good. Great vapor out of this in comparison to same fluid (JC Tenn Cured) in my other carto's.

What voltage were you running on the other 2 carto's that burned?

All 3.7v, standard battery. I don't mod. I like a simple cigarette style/look.
Considering running 510 carto's on a 808 battery. Love 510 carto's but dislike their battery life in standard sized batteries.

Johnson Creek Dk Choc is my test fluid (thinned with 25% vodka). If it survives that, it;s a good carto. None have survived more than 2 fills. A tough juice that I love, but it's a carto killer. Tenn Cured (vg) is my go to standard, sometimes mixed with a Camel like (pg) flavor 50/50.

On the 3rd refill thus far with the one Bloog. So far, so good. Good vapor and flavor.

Here, there
It's funny -- with a name like Bloog, and a web site like theirs, you'd thing they'd be all marketing fluff and no substance (kinda like Blu), but they're just not. If I didn't already own 9 batteries, I would order some of theirs to try too, I'm sure they're great :)

I thought just the same, but we are located in the same state, so I went with them. And I couldn't be happier.
I also would like to include, I got no comparisons yet. This is my first PV.

And then again, another one is holding up fairly well on the Dk Choc flavor. A slight tinge of cook taste, but after refilling over that taste twice now, it's holding its own and the flavor has improved some.
A lesser carto wouldn't have held up. Probably 5+ refills on it so far.

I'm thinking of running comparison against Boge 510 carto's, on both 808 and 510 batteries. (I have an adapter to use 510 carto's on a 808D1 battery.)

Better living through Chemistry.
