So I mentioned that my aunt was interested in trying out e-cigs, and I've gotten enough replies about whether it was safe for her to do if she is also needing to use oxygen. So now I have a decision to make... she smoked (or smokes) Virginia Slims lights. I don't have the first clue what those would taste like. I see juices and cartos at other places called Virginia, but if I'm going to set her up I would prefer to get her Bloogs, of course! There is no way in he[[ I'm going to start her out with juice, so I have to find cartos that would be a suitable substitute. I haven't tried the Reds or Kamels here yet. Is there anyone here that knows what Virginia's taste like that could tell me if either of those are close?

I've bummed the occasional "long and slim" cigarette from a female, and they all taste very light.
I'd think low-nic and light flavor. Kamel is pretty analog-like, and at a low nic she might like it, but taste is so subjective. Red is more like heavy, Marlboro tobacco flavor.
I say start her on low-nic RY4, just because it's probably the least "offensive" of the Bloog flavors.

So, I am a brand new Blooger. Up until yesterday when the FedEx truck arrived, I was smoking Marlboro Lights (not hugely different from Virginia Slims)
RY4 was, unfortunately, the only tobacco flavor I ordered. I do find it too sweet....sort of like tobacco flavored cotton candy. However, it's the only 24mg I ordered, and discovered that is what I need to prevent wanting to grab a cigarette. So, I've been using it for half a day now. Second impression upon waking up is that it is indeed much more enjoyable with my morning coffee.
Just some noob impressions that may be helpful if your aunt doesn't have a sweet tooth.

IMHO kamel is nothing tobacco or cigarette like. Might as well get her some rose water to vape. OTOH, I'm quickly learning that if it feels close enough to a cigarette, I don't really want it to taste like one at all.
I'd say her biggest adjustment will be to the size if she smokes those skinnies. I rolled filterless forever, and about 5 or 6 years ago settled on a cone shape instead of cylinder. So the 808 shape is a lot wider at the mouth than my cones were. I adjusted, and just told myself I switched to camel wides. But the wider diameter, and eventually taking cutoff sized hits, my jaw gets a little over stretched and feels a little weird.

if she smokes virginia slims menthol, why not get the bloog menthols. besides the RY4, i actually kinda like the menthols, and i used to smoke VS.

Thanks Tracy and everyone who offered their views on this. I'm pretty sure it is Virginia Slims regular, not menthol, that she smokes but I'll double check. I suppose I could order all the tobaccos, let her pick which she likes, and take the rest.
I would REALLLLLY like to just get a sampler pack, but knowing how things drag on and on here I hate to wait for that. I saw a post that said basically that they were here but just not on the site yet. I wonder if Red could shed some light on that. I can certainly wait 1 week, but not 1 month.
If they can't get the sampler packs yet, Red could just throw in a few extra cartos with each order.
right now the sample pack only has non tobacco flavors. I believe it has grape, apple, mint, chocolate and watermelon and right now all we have is 0 and 36mg in stock I think we are getting other strengths in this coming week but dont hold me to it. But Start I highly suggest the Reds at 6mg mainly because the flavor is not too sweet or too harsh. and 6mg is pretty much equal to a light analog.
yes they will work. I only have my bloog wall charger and riv4l charger. I need to get my hands on atleast 2 more chargers and maybe 1 more battery. I dont think bringing my prodigy to the office would go over nice.

I'd say offer her 555, but that would make one more customer eating up the supplies.
