Bloog Passthrough Question

Ok, the Bloog passthrough operates at 5v from what I understand, and the cartos are designed to work with the 3.6v regulated battery. I WAS going to wait for the regulated passthrough, but with the appreciation sale going on, I might just have to settle for the 5v. My question is: Has anyone had problems with the Bloog passthrough with MF cartos? Thanks,

The new cartos are suppose to address the burning issue at higher voltages. I do not know if they do though.

I have some of the new cartos, but I don't have anything higher voltage. Bloog was my first (and still my only) PV. Haven't had reason to try anything else.

Ordered passthroughs for myself and my fiancee. With the sale going on I couldn't wait for the regulated ones.

Enjoy! Did you get the car adaptor too? I keep a PT in the car just in case I need it and have needed it more than once.

I am gonna wait for the regulated one. I do want to get one though. I have some long distance traveling to do, and I think a PT would work well in the car. Just bring some self filled cartos and I am good to go.

I already have the car adaptor to charge batteries on long trips (didn't work out though, with the battery sticking out that far I can't shift into 5th gear) and am already intending on using the passthrough on long trips.
