Blowing into rda?

Maybe this is a silly question but I've been wondering ever since seeing it. Many videos I watch on coil building I see the person blow into his/her rda while firing just before hitting it. Is there a purpose to this? Are they heating the coils up for the hit?

I always thought of it as a trick to make the room look cloudy so their hits afterwards look bigger. I tried it a few times and never noticed that it helped do anything.

Yea I tried it myself to see if it made a difference but I think it mainly just looks cool to have vape blowing out of your holes

The only reason we blow into our rda's first is because good coils usually give a good pop and spit on the first fire due to the juice and coil being cool. We don't want to get juice in our mouth or eye or something. After that first pull and pop you are usually good to go.

I think it's just a way for them to exhale before inhaling

Mugs that actual makes sense now that I think about it haha, and yea I can see it working doubly as exhaling befor a pull

I do it to make sure it's actually firing and to heat the coils up. I'm using 26g at the moment and there's a fair bit of lag.

Muggs is right. I'm not as low as some but my RDA builds run between 0.2 - 0.5.

As you can imagine juice vaporizing at 30+ watts is pretty warm and you don't want it spitting at you.

When I drip through the top some juice sits on the coil meaning when I fire it's going to spit off. So right after dripping I blow real quick before inhaling.

The same thing happens if I haven't hit for a period of time. So for the first hit everybody figures out to do that.

If they do it after the first hit they probably over dripped and it's just bubbling / spitting juice at them. So they are blowing the excess juice off.

I blow into my RDA all the time. It works just fine. Sometimes after a good vape I'll blow into my RDA to clear it all out. Then sometimes I put on some Kenny G and pretend to be play the Sax. Sometimes my wife catches me and laughs at me so I go to the secret place under the stairs and think hateful thoughts until she brings me icecream. Women are mean.
