I filled my first blank cartos this weekend (can you say ZEN? I loved it!). I wasn't sure which end to blow them out from; mouthpiece end or "post" end?

I am no expert so you may get better advice along the way...but I put the white cap back on then blow on the mouthpiece with the end that goes on battery toward the tissue.... Hope that helps....
I blow through mouth side first. Then wipe the threads down and blow through the battery side. That way, I don't get liquid in my mouth as often.
edit: BTW, you can use the bottle to suck some of the excess up. Squeeze the bottle, then hold it to the thread side and unsqueeze. It works to get rid of that drip when they are full. And every drop counts.

I do the same "bottle trick" with a syringe and it seems to clean out the cart nicely

Also, I first blow from the battery end, after cleaning off the threads and cart while holding a tissue to the mouth end. Then I sometimes have to reverse the process and blow into it via the mouth piece
Word of advice...ALWAYS make certain you have cleaned the cart of juice that might have dripped, spilled, leaked over...etc. You do NOT want to wrap your lips around ejuice

When on the go filling Ms. Kittypie I'll blow into the battery end if the tube is flooded. So far no run off into the batts using that method...

That's the step I was missing. I haven't had an issue until the other night with a cherry cordial I had filled. I thought it was ruined so I pitched it. Did not know to blow them out. Thanks for this post! I must have missed it on the videos.
You should be able to see through the cartos. That is where the vapor travels. If you can't see through it, you can't hit it (and may end up with a mouth full of nasty).

If you can't see light, either the center cylinder has gone off-center or you've over-filled. Must See Light or vape goes badly.

but ,if you have over filled a carto and have a manual batt..remove plastic mouthpiece and blow thru into a tissue to get excess out ,then wipe off battery connection .i dont have autos so im not commenting
