Blowing too hard? Stupid question...

Seeing as I'm not a noobie anymore this question feels rather silly. When filling my cartos (I use the condom method, is this best?) afterwards I know u blow thru them to get the excess liquid from the middle hole but I feel like I'm blowing too hard or something because a ton of liquid comes out. Is it possible I'm blowing the liquid right out?

you don't need to blow like Paris Hilton.. just go easy..

I TOTALLY avoided replying to this thread...wanted to stay out of the sin bin...and then you had to post that!

Besides, she's asking an innocent carto newbie question and I don't want her to think this is a "nasty forum" because it generally isn't.

But.... ROFL.

I also use the condom method. What I usually do is push down slowly until I see the liquid come up to the top then slowly pull up a little so the juice goes back down, let it sit for a minute then repeat the process. After that I just let it sit there for another 10 minute or so and have gravity do the work. I rather be patient and prime it right.

Seriously,

Doesn't anyone use syringes to fill anymore? So much better.

I do! Well...actually I use a bottles with luer lock lids on them..and use sharp (not blunt) needles in the appropriate size. Syringes are a bit awkward for me (but I do use them for DIY) I just find using this type of "needle bottle" really convenient, fast, efficient and easy. I use the sharp needles because they don't tear up my polyfill in the cartos as much as the blunt ones do. I'm a big girl...haven't stabbed myself yet!

I use the blunt tipped needle caps to fill my RBA and will sometimes use it with the cartos.. the condom method is just so easy ... just fill it, pop it on and leave it for 10 min .

Using my needle bottle gizmo...I don't have to wait at all! Just fill, add a couple of drops in the threaded end...and go! zoom zoom!

Also, although there are 100 types of cartos/tanks/rba.....

Maybe try a CE2 or CE3 style clearo in the proper ohms for your device. Then,

A) It's clear so you can see while filling it
B) They vape like monsters! Although they are top coil
C) Blowing it out isn't going to empty it.

Use a drip tip on the top of it instead of the little white cap. They are top coil so they can get hot.

As you get familiar with them, you will find they are similar to many tanks on the market too. But that's for when/if you decide to check into tanks.

I've found that the "drip and shake" method works for me.

First, I put a wooden toothpic part way into the center air hole to keep out unwanted juice. This totally eliminates the need to blow on the tank and taste e-liquid. Yuk!

Then I drip my juice into the cart's filler until it looks saturated. I then shake the carto like a thermometer a few times. This replicates a centrifuge action. I add more liquid, shake a few times. I continue this ritual a couple more times until the carto will hold no more juice. Remove the tooth pick, and add a tank accessory tool to put the carto half way into the tank and fill it up.

Once the tank is 80% full, I push the cart the rest of the way into the tank, remove the tank tool and add a drip tip, and ready to vape immediately.

No need to blow through the air hole. No need to let the tank "sit". The entire process takes 5 minutes.

Heh.. the first time I used the old 'toothpick' trick - I stuck it in way too far (no pun intended with this one) and messed up the coil..

U guys are awesome! Sry the orig post was so um suggestive? Didn't realize it till I read the comments...lol. I have the t3 clearomizer from volt and when I bought some blank cartos from bloog for my v2 they had some kind of clearomizer that would fit the 808 so I have that one as well but I must say I just prefer the taste of cartos!
