Blu E-Cigs are a rip off.

So, about a month ago, I bought my first Blu starter pack. I went home and initially plugged it in to charge only to find that it wasn't working. I contacted customer support, and they simply told me it was a short in the pack, and I needed to send it in to get a new one.

I eventually got a new one, and it charged initially this time. I had no problems with it, and it would always have a fully charged battery. Last night, the charge on the pack depleted, and I went to charge the pack again. When I plugged it in, the blue light flashed, and then shut off. Now, it simply won't charge, and I'm assuming it's the same issue the other one had.

This is simply ridiculous. I've spent around $80 on these things and they've worked for a grand total of about 5 days. Don't get them.

the right set up is key and for you i would tell you to stay away from any kind of e cig or vaporizer that even remotely looks like a cigarett !!!

the battery is far to small to last and the whole kit and replacement carts are WAY WAY WAY over priced !!! it should cost less than 20$ dead serious !!!!

here is a trusted site with good prices on real vaporizers or avdanced personal vaporizors..

Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape

that kit is the Itaste mvp V2 and its one of the best and most reliable AVP sysltems out there ! its easy to use (u will figure it out in less than 30 min) and cost less than half of what you paid for the blue !!! you also can use whatever e juice or flavor you want with this system thus saving you a sh#t ton of money VS using prefilled cartos from blue !!! as a matter of fact... you can use your left over blue cartos on this system with far better results !!!!

it even comes with an i clear 30.... one of the most respected clearomizers on this forum !!!!

the battery on this bad boy can last upwards of 3 days before a charge mostly lasts about a day and a half with a heavy smoker like me, and you can still use it wile it charges via usb port, ohh and did i mention it has its own usb out put so you can use its enormous battery to charge your dead phone in an emergancy ??? it looks big in the picture but its the exact size of a pack of smokes so its not like your not already used to carying something of that size right ?

i have never met a single person who quit with a cig a like ever...... most needed to switch to a mod like the one mentioned to get to the sweet spot.

I had no luck quitting with blu or any of the small battery/tank setups.
I would have gone back to smoking if I hadn't found something strong like a mechanical mod and RDA.
Once I had a good setup things became so much easier.

I actually liked the Blu disposables

It Is What Got Me Off stinkies
liked the taste, how they 'really' worked and satisfied me

it converted my mind to; "So it can be done"

just the price was too much or who knows where I'd be today
if they sold for what they're really worth...

then found an evod kit :D

if carrying something the size of a pack of buts is too big for you than take a look at this ... the i taste vv

its the top of the line IMHO pen style or stick style vaporizer there is ! it is vv/vw and has a digital display that can read the resistance of your clearo or carto !!! its 800mah battery will last an average vapor all day.

I Taste VV

its a step above the standard ego with a set and regulated voltage, heck its a step above an ego twist because it has a better voltage range and a digital display and reads ohms !!! plus again it comes with an i clear 16 a smaller version of the 30 and is threded to fit 510 ego and other standard toppers, you can even use the blue cartos on this one too !

again this is by far one of the best and most reliable vape pens out there and its still half the cost of a blue starter kit !!!!

blue cartos only last for a good 10 puffs then they taste burnt !!! a good boge or smoktech carto properly filled should last a good 5 hours of vapeing !!!! blue is a rip off and there carto design is a terrible hybrid of short thin silica wick foam padding and polyfill uuhhhh gross stuff !!!

every one will have there own opinion but if you realy do want to stick to cig a likes then this is the best there is !

its the halo G6... you will not be dissapointed with this one !!!

halo makes one of the best e juice lines on the market and the e juice called tribeca is favored by a lot on this forum and its my all day vape !!! i love halo e juice !!!

there e cig starter kit follows the same quiality as there e juice does.... top of the line and well thought out !!

E-Cigarette Starter Kit G6 | Halo Cigs

as you can see they offer manual batterys and automatic and they offer them in differant sizes and colors !!! you can not go wrong here and there carto's are top notch.

i would say there replacement cartos are better than smoktech but not as good as ikenvape they are in the high ground quality wize. they also offer prefilled cartos, filled with there own top notch e juice !!! halo has some srsly great liquid !!! go and search it !!! along with prefilled carto's they also sell standard and low resistance refillable cartos so you can save money by refilling it with e juice instead of tossing it in the trash !!!

Blank/Empty Cartomizers | G6 Electronic Cigarette | Halo Cigs

prefilled flavors..
http://www.halocigs.com/g6-e-cigarette/g6-prefilled-cartomizers.html

but what is impressive about halo is that they have the only mini clearomizer designed to work off a cig a like battery !!! you can get this with you kit if you want to try out clearomizers instead of cartos !!

Mini Tanks | G6 Electronic Cigarette | Halo Cigs

the halo g6 get 5 stars on nearly every single review.... think about it ! all you ever hear about blue is complaints lol but all you ever hear about the g6 is how much beetter it preforms than a standard e cig ! there are members on this forum who are advanced modders and vapors who still carie a g6 to work or in the car !!!!

want to know how good halo is...? check up at my avitar !!! LOL it a big old 30ml bottle of halo tribeca !!! my all time favorite e juice !!!! i vape it every day out of a customized magnetic mechanical mod and a rebuildable silica tank atty !

i am vaping it right now !!! halo tribeca with a dash of heathers heavany tobacco on the coil is where its at !

The mvp is a very good choice but 101 vapes is sold out... an ebay user (vapetown2013 ) sells them at a very respectable price with free shipping. Itaste MVP 2 0 ICLEAR30 ICLEAR16 Kit Newest Version from Innokin Free Shipping | eBay

ohh yes i almost forgot about kanger tech !

kanger makes the best clearomizers on the market right now ! they have the EVOD made to fit an ego perfectly, the protank, the protank mini again made for an ego, and the aero tank ! the pro tank is a very reliable clearo, probably the most reliable clearo out there and it has a glass tank ! you cant beat that ! the protank 1 and 2 are single coil class tank clearomizers that fit any 510 mod and will work just fine on a pen style like an ego, they have easly replacable coils that are pretty cheap to buy so you can swap them out when they go bad or try your hand at rebuilding them ! THE TANKS ARE SUPER EASY TO FILL unlike a carto or carto tank, you just unscrew the bottom and fill it up and go .

kanger also makes and ego style battery and an ego twist style battery too ! they are verry reliable.

a verry good and wallet friendly setup that you will not be dissapointed in would be the kanger evod starter kit

if you want something better and more fancy looking then i will tell you that a kanger twist battery and a protank 2 is going to be the best vape you can buy for the money !!!!

kanger = moderate cost and great top of the line clearo's and stick batterys !

my sister quit smoking a pack a day habit with my recomondation of the evod starter kit !! she quit in less than 2 weeks using it and has not had a cig since !! she has beeen using it for 5 months now and has not had the urge to upgrade or change over to anything ! the evod starter kit is working perfectly for her !

she has this exact kit

evod.jpg

here is the protank

protank 2.jpg

here it is on an ego pen style

ego tank.jpg

this is probably the least expencive way to go and a LOT of people use this as there every day set up.

I bought the Blu kit which served me well enough until I could disgest a whole lot of info about vaping. Wish I had had someone to guide me.

I would have started with two Ego Twists. I started vaping six weeks ago and haven't smoked a cigarette in a monty.

I just got the SmokTech SID today, and I am really happy with it. My HH 357 atomizer arrives tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to that.

Keep on vaping!

save yourself money and frustration... get a SVD and a KayfunClone or a couple of CE8 tanks along with batteries and a charger, find a tasty juice and enjoy your vaping... I wasted money on 2 Blu Kits, over a dozen refill 5packs for the Blus, 3 eGo batteries, 2 Protanks, 4 Evod tanks and 2 Vamo3's... wish I had bought the SVD first!

You've received a ton of good advice and suggestions already so let me just add that you shouldn't let your experience with Blu stop you from vaping. There is so much better out there and it's not hard to find. Also Blu's are expensive compared to once you get a set up that works for you. Good luck and keep vaping!! :toast:
