Hey all! I've been seeing all kinds of ads for Blu e-cigs lately...their web banners are all over the place... they must have an incredible budget for advertising. Now I'm not complaining, because it is these ads that brought me into the PV community, but what I was wondering is just how good these devices are. Does anyone actually own one and what type are they? I'm not interested in buying one, just curious!

blu ads are everywhere because people put them on sites to make money off ppl using the banners to get to the blu site. Its called the affiliate program. Everyone who buys after clicking from your pages makes u money. Easy way to get great reviews and banners galore for nothing for the blu ppl. Blu no longer ships to canada. Blu is crap.
Blu brought me into the PV community as well. I can't say what type thay are though. My friend owns a Blu and basically what I've heard about them on these forums is not very good. I only took a few puffs from my friends Blu and at the same time I was thinking "is it working?" Yeah I saw something come out of my mouth but it didn't feel like a cigarette. Thats because vaping is not smoking. I really can't say if Blu brand PV is good or not, simply due to the fact that I only "tried it" once and really didn't use it. I can only relay the information I've been given on this forum.
When I first heard of ecigs, it was the Blu brand that was being advertised to me. Knowing nothing about ecigs at the time I kept looking at the Blu website and their videos. They had me sold for a second but thank God they were overwhelmed with back orders and they stopped taking orders online for a short time to clear up their back orders.
Thats when I decided to dig deeper online. Basically I thought 'there has to be another online company out there that sells the blu or something very similar.' Thats when I came across this forum.
The good people of this forum told me all about what the good PV's are and the difference between auto and manual batteries. I am now waiting for my manual 510 to arrive and it will probably blow my friends blu out of the water. And I bought for less than what the Blu's normal selling price is. But keep in mind my kit doesn't include the personal charging case (PCC) like the Blu, I've decided to order that separately. I've learned alot through this forum and by watching YouTube reviews and how to's.
Blu website in my opinion is trying to appeal to the "younger" crowd (18+). And marketing with ad banners all over the net. They're making the ecig look nice and slick in their marketing. A black cigarette with a blue LED looks cool. But people on this forum told me, and I quote "avoid the blu like the plague." Even my friend who just got the blu said to look for a better ecig if I was going to get one.
I really wanted to get a PV that was black and had a blue LED, just like the blu...good thing Joye510 makes one just like that.
