Ok been on disposables for 10 mos.. tried a Krave Kit mos ago which must've been old stock or something. Was absolutely nothing like the disposable. Been digging the Blu disposables lately so decided to buy the Premium 100 kit.. another horror story.
Charger pack DOA.. one of the batteries stopped vaping on day 3.. in general the batteries die fast and it's tough to get any decent amount of vape without a freshly charged battery and a fresh cartridge. Read some unfavorable reviews and would like to know what any of the more experienced ppl 'round here can suggest in terms of getting results.. or other kits I won't have to .... around with.. Heard Joytech Mega510 's were good; considering those. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

Thx

Hate to break it to you, but yes...it's garbage (IMHO). I started on the Blu's and other replaceable-cartridge cigs and soon moved up to an eGo. Let me tell you, the jump in quality is AMAZING! Haven't really felt the need to move past the basic eGo/clearo setup. I've tried many others and this is still satisfying my every vaping need.

Start with a basic eGo 650mah battery, get a good clearo/tank like an EVOD, find some juice you like (look around the forum; reviews & suggestions are everywhere) and vape away! Seriously, you'll be shocked at the difference & the lack of hassle...those cartridge systems are a nightmare & a serious waste of $$$.

If you ask me, something like this starter kit is the best way for you to get going (it's inexpensive & the shipping is free, too!). After you try it, you may want to experiment with different resistance atomizers to see what you like best, but it will blow the setup you have out of the water.

What kind of flavor juice are you looking for? Are you still vaping a straight tobacco or menthol flavor?

In any case, welcome to the forum & get ready to broaden your horizons! :)

Not sure if they are garbage per say, but it seems like it is more expensive than smoking from what I know. If you read more of this forum and get to know what vaping is all about, the only way that its more expensive than smoking is if you outfit yourself with some nice equipment. Even then over the long-haul I think it's tough.

That is exactly the kit I had my friend buy. I started on the eGo-T kit which worked well, but I think the EVOD tank+eGo battery system is a better fit.

There seems to have been a recent up-tick in Blu complaints across the board just like you cited - DOA chargers, dried out cartridges... I wonder if Lorilard changed some manufacturers for their stuff?

I doubt it. It's more that so many more people are using them now. They blu three years ago, they blu two years ago, they blu last year, and they blow today.

I'd say that they're probably the most appropriately named company on the planet.

10 Mos.? Try 6 weeks....
Another former Blu starter here. Its a love-hate thing for me.
I was just fed up with smoking and stopped at Walgreens and gave them my $60 for a standard starter pkg. It was an immediate 100% replacement for Marlboros for me. Using the 24mg nicotine cartos (1 pack to 25 cigs a day prior to that). In week 6 I decided to drop to the medium 18mg, so I ordered 4 refill packs from Blue online direct. The next day (in week 6 of vaping using only Blu) one of those 2 batteries started popping when I would draw on it, then it just quit charging. Picked up a disposable Blu while I decided what to switch to...read this site, etc. Then the 2nd battery went down to only charging for about 10-20 puffs. BTW I ordered those 4 Blu refills on 7/25 and they are still not here....2 weeks to get Carto's....geeeeez).
So 2 dead batteries and I wasnt going to stay on the disposables, I found a Vape shop locally.
Now I am on a single unit.
eGo-T Upgrade 1000 mAh Stainless Battery
Kanger Stainless Tank MT3S (with the 2 slot windows) and local vapor shop juice.

So thanks Blu for the kick start quitting but good lord, find yourself some Production Quality Control willya?

my 2 cents - i bought the disposible blu when i tried my FIRST ecig, i liked it and kept puffing, but it died before i finished my walk home from the gas station - 5 blocks away -.- went back and got a 21 century and that gunks up on just the prefilled carts without refilling them.
had a friend show up yesterday that i havent talked to in quite a while and he had a triton - witch funny enough i just orderd one before he showed up. BIG STEP up from these crap cig-alikes.

IMHO - blu is just an expensive ... name brand, you just paying for the logo - reminds me of Apple products.

and the "logic" that im currently using seems to be a "knockoff" blu - black everything with a blue tip. but it seems to be hit and miss with this brand also - first kit the charger was faulty.

so on the batteries.. you recommend the 650 over 1000/1300mah? is size the main factor or is 1300 just overkill?
saw this - $21.83 EVOD 6-in-1 Rechargeable 1300mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - double e-cigarette / black / 2.5

thoughts?
