Next week is the launch of Blu + rechargeable system. From the research I have done..it has a bigger battery, the cartomizers are now called tanks. There is no cotton in them and they will come in packs of 3..they say there us more juice in them compared to the old ones. The batteries charge must faster in the pcc. Basically they are claiming it will perform like a tank system. Also they upped the nic to 24mg. They are making their own juice now..and if you have tried the new cherry crush disposable..it is not jc juice..but I gotta say it was good! I am interested in trying this..just to see if they have in fact made any vast improvements. Any one else going to give it a go? I use an eroll now..but I do like the blu for out and about..just easier than refilling the eroll all the time. I'm glad they are finally raising the nic to 24 mg in the new kit. I know blu isn't real big around here..but if it actually does perform as well as a tank system and the carts are improved and last longer..they may have something to look into for simplicity. Vape on!

I don't know how to look at this thread.

At first it seemed like this guy was sincere in just asking about a cigalike (I remember my cigalike days) and it's just what he likes and is used to. I had a V2 and a Mystic and that was my vape of choice even though everyone told me I should upgrade. It was just cheaper to have a cigalike at the time.

Then I notice that he double posted it. It COULD be just a mistake and he didn't know how to check his old thread. Which would be fine.

It ALMOST (and this is just me) seems like he's looking for reviews and reactions towards it for a poll standpoint. Like a way to see if people who vape like we do (tanks, mech mods, APVs) would be able to happily vape this BT product. I don't know. He could just not know how to view his old posts.

Can't say I'm not suspicious of things like this anymore. The biggest Ecig forum would be a gold mine for anyone looking to better their product if they had the $$$

I am going to take it at face value that OP simply could not find the initial thread.

I have not tried any Blu products. I have tried several other cig alikes. I don't know if I would try the new Blu. I suppose it would depend on the price. In looking at their website their rechargables look rather pricey compared to other comparable cig alike products. Green Smoke, Njoy and Vuse to name a few. All of those can be purchased for less then 20$

Was I fairly troll-like on the last thread regarding Blu?

(I probably was) ??

They are a tobacco company, not a Vaping company. They want your money whether you quit smoking or don't.

It's bad enough that entire shelves of vaping company e-cigs have been thrown away/sold off at discount to make way for the Blu revolution in the UK, but to willingly buy into their products is a sort of irony that I can't even begin to comprehend.

Sorry, I could not find my original post, I must have just looked over it. And know i do not work for Blu or anything like that. I was just interested in peoples thoughts as I think if blu did it right, they could be good. I enjoyed the way it tasted etc.. just not satisfying enough, although I do like their disposables still. Sorry, I didnt mean to make it sound like I was a blu spy or anything lol.

Heh, made me think of this. Also I don't think this dude (or any dude) is a spy for Blu. If someone was gonna be vetting the forums for suggestions for their products, they wouldn't need to make a new thread. People post their opinions about Blu and stuff all the time, without prompting.

I tried Blu once and it's the whole reason why it took me so long to get into vaping. The product was aweful and I thought this is how all ecigs are.

If one was going to go with a cigalike though, I would have to say go with a Halo G6 starter kit. While its not going to be as good as a tank system, Halos juices are top notch.

It's a shame to me that the tobacco industry makes such bad vaping products. They have the money and resources to make the best products possible.

Ditto from me I'm afraid. Tried it few years ago, didn't work for me so went back to stinky sticks. Not going to try it again now I've got a Vano v5 and an Eleaf iStick which have very successfully got me off analogs. Why would I go back to something that didn't do anything for me?

It's not just the tobacco companies that make bad e-cigs though. There are loads of models in the UK which are no better than a placebo stick.

We have a new one on the market that uses CE4s (good, in a way) but you can't refill them.

I vape 2ml a day (and most people seem to need at least that).

Refilling a Protank or mini Nautilus costs about $1,500 a year taking into account liquids, atomizers and some good mods/batteries.

Using this 'new' system would cost me $6,000 a year.

That's the sort of thing that makes me mad.
