We have a new one on the market that uses CE4s (good, in a way) but you can't refill them.

I vape 2ml a day (and most people seem to need at least that).

Refilling a Protank or mini nautilus costs about $1,500 a year taking into account liquids, atomizers and some good mods/batteries.

Using this 'new' system would cost me $6,000 a year.

That's the sort of thing that makes me mad.

Which one is that DJS?

As you know, this sort of overpriced, under performing vape gear, makes me mad as well :(

It's a Vapestick product being sold by Tescos. I would need two non-refillable clearos a day (maybe even more) costing £10-£15 per day.

Flipping Vapestick. What a joke.

Then again, they are owned by the US conglomerate I am hoping will fall off the planet never to return.

ECIG - Electronic Cigarettes International Group Ltd Stock quote - CNNMoney.com

My "eyes" in investing and stock markets reckon the game is up and they will go bang soon enough. Then again, even if the parent company does indeed go bankrupt, the UK team behind Vapestick aren't going to stop selling their stuff. They just have their eyes on millions of pounds of sales.... all helped (seemingly) by Tescos.

Well, I guess "every little helps". :)

Thanks for the info Djs - I also hope the game is up for them.

I always thought they were named Blu because that was the color my face turned while trying to get a decent vape from one.

ROFL - brilliant DPLongo22 :D

BLU led me to look for something better, so I found the JC VEA, which led me to the Halo Triton, which led me to quit smoking in 5 days. I am glad they exist...
Likewise. I remember buying the V1 disposable, spent 10 dollars for 4 hours of curiosity. Although I went back to black and milds, this eventually turned me to vaping a couple months later, and I'm glad it did! It has its place in the market.

I was just messing, Steve. They carried me through the first two weeks too.

And some people thought the color actually looked good on me.

I like the concept of them, the flavor and the pack; they just weren't quite enough, though. If they came out with a good cigalike I'd give them a try for certain situations.

The new BLU tank looks very promising...:)

I would suggest that you go with an Kanger Evod with a protank or ego twist or something similar. When I started I spent piles of money trying to find something that would give me the satisaction of smoking analogs. I have spent money on V2 Cigs, Epuffer cig-alikes, Blu Cig-alikes and all did not help me at all with regards to quitting. Just trying to help you save money.

Cheers

Echoing the Evod recommendation. GREAT starter option that worked for almost all of my kids, who've all since moved on.

I'm kind of against the whole Evod thing considering you can get an iTaste MVP 2.0 for about the cost of one of these 650mAh starter kits.

I bought mine at a B&M for $40 with a coupon which came with an iClear30 and have seen them even cheaper on the web.

I feel this product is the best on the market when it comes to quality, features and value. I don't see myself buying anything else unless I decide to jump on the sub-ohm train. The battery lasts a very long time and you can even vape while you are charging.

I've been through multiple eGo style batteries from cheap clones to a Kanger Evod. I break them, lose them, they end up in the laundry, etc. And for a similar price, the vape isn't nearly as good as an MVP. Had I bought one right from the beginning, I would have saved quite a bit of money.

Might work for some people but blu gave me a really bad impression of vaping. But who knows. Maybe they have changed in the past couple years.

I can half ... respect lorillard though because they aren't the ones trying to get our mods banned like other companies are such as RJ Reynolds.

Reynolds has lobbied like crazy against our liquids and tank systems, saying only products like their Vuse cigalikes should be allowed. Lorillard (blu, Newport) on the other hand has kept a stance that both should coexist.

If I ran one of the big tobacco companys I'd want to get up and say, "hey everybody, smoking is bad for you, you should quit. Lucky for us there's a solution that's so superior it makes smoking tobacco obsolete and my company is all in and we are going to make vaping products and compete with all the other vaping product makers fair and square and we look forward to the day when we are making more money on vaping than we ever made from tobacco and we won't be selling tobacco any more because there won't be any demand."

I see nothing wrong with the above and I'm surprised they haven't positioned themselves that way already. In the mean time their vaping products are enemic because they are intentionally designed to suppliment, not replace, cigarettes so they don't deserve to be taken seriously but I think they will fully embrace vaping or their companys will fade away.
